I love that you can watch second-run movies here for a fraction of the price. With three kids and a limited budget, going to a full-price theater(especially if it’s a 3D movie) can run almost $ 60 and that’s without popcorn! Yeah, right. So being able to take the whole family here for the cost of about one normal full-price ticket elsewhere is really appreciated. That said, I really almost hate to complain about the amenities. The décor is obviously not updated since the 1960s, which I don’t really mind, but the chairs are AWFUL. If you’ve ever wondered how well seats from the 60s hold up after 50 years of use, you can find out here(hint: not good!) I’m not all about needing the fancy-schmancy sound or the cushy seats that are better than the furniture I have at home, but it would be super awesome if there was a middle ground. I’ll go back here again with my kids because you really can’t beat the price — but I’ll take Advil pre-emptively for the aching back I’m sure to leave with.
