Really impressive from the moment you walk in the door. The restaurant is beautiful and feels French contemporary in the décor. The service was on point with great attention but not stopping our conversation. Had the avocado tuna appetizer and the new York strip with asparagus appetizer. The kitchen plated them up on 4 plates(1 of each for each of the 4 guests), which I thought was a helpful gesture! For dinner, my colleagues got the salmon and the steak. They raved over the salmon. I had the veal which was perfect. For dessert, the waiter even offered us options from their café next door! We shared the key lime pie and the chocolate lava cake. The cocktails, wine and bread basket were all nice too. Thanks for impressing my guests!

Saturday September 27, 2014, my parents, husband and I spent at Table for a celebratory dinner. We had 7:00 p.m. reservations; however, when we entered the restaurant there wasn’t anyone at the host station to greet us. This was the low point of the evening as we stood awkwardly for a couple of minutes wondering what to do. It only went up from there. The service, the ambiance and the food were WONDERFUL. I can honestly say this restaurant charmed us all. It is definitely a special occasion place as we left at the end of the night with over a $ 300 bill but I DONOT feel cheated. I will come back again some day. Maybe next time for cocktails and dessert so I can afford it.

Been coming here for the last 4 years. It continues to improve and find its grove. The service has always been amazing. Thomas has been our go to waiter from the start. The food is great, the last two menus stellar.

For a small town like Midland, this is a truly outstanding restaurant. Nice wine list, outstanding food, and reasonably priced for the quality. Service is not consistent, and can be slow. All in all, one of the nicest choices in the area.

Great, attentive service. I had tuna tartare.& sea bass with wild mushroom, it was ok. I was mostly desperate for any kind of good food after staying in Saginaw for 4 weeks. Wasn’t sure I liked the bass preparation compared to a less expensive restaurant in saginaw called the Willow Tree

Be sure to ask for Orange Göo off their secret menu.

Waiter service is not up to standard for a restaurant like the table. Waiter was not very knowledgeable with the menu. Very awkward service. Should fire all the waiters. Food is only alright but nice cocktail. The price has gone down a lot.

Where do i begin with this one. My boyfriend and i had been to Table 2 years ago and had fallen head over heels with the restuarant. The décor was beautiful and the food was amazing. The menu was interesting, creative and one-of-a-kind. It left such an indelible impression that when we thought about places to go for our one year wedding anniversary, we unanimously chose to come back to Midland(from Detroit) just to have dinner at Table and relive the culinary adventure we shared a few years back. What we experienced the past weekend was, unfortunately, a huge dissapointment. Ambiance/Décor — This is the one place where i i’d give the restaurant 5 stars. It’s very beautiful inside. upscale without being pretentious. Service — overall, it was pretty good. The manager could work on his people skills a bit more but that’s just my personal preference. He went to everybody’s table but ours and wished them a happy anniversay(or whatever the occasion was) and thanked them for coming in that night. Food — now here’s where it gets interesting. We learned a few days prior, that the excutive chef from our last visit was no longer there and that the head chef from the hote’s Café Zinc had taken over. We weren’t too concerend because we had read good reviews about Café Zinc. So, we looked at the menu online to scope out offerings and saw some pretty interesting items like elk and vennison. When we got to the restuarant, we saw that the menu had been skinnied down from what we saw online and that all the interesting items were gone. I ordered the Honey BBQ Pork Belly for appetizer and the Steake au poivre. My husband ordered the goat cheese salad and the Rabbit. Overall, the food was overseasoned. The pork belly was good but so rich. The steak was so salty, i had 4 cups of water and got through half the steak. my husband’s rabbit, the one thing on the menu that sounded interesting, was so overseasoned with cumin that he couldn’t eat it. He told the waiter who then explained that this issue had come up the previous week but he thought had been resolved — apparently, not. The restaurant did end up taking the rabbit off the bill which was nice. But, i do have to say, it was a little awkward towards the end. No one came over to talk to us about the concern — i would have expected the manager to come out and at least apologize for it. So we paid our bill and left. i really wanted to like this restauarant, but not until they get a new chef or help the one they’ve got.

Nicest place in Michigan? I haven’t been to better. The staff are very earnest, Rudy is a hoot, the food is excellent. Please, please, please Midland, keep coming! We NEED this place!

This is a gem that you would never expect to find in the middle of Michigan. The food is as good as any gourmet restaurant in a major city at half the price. The service is good, not pretentious. The wine list is lengthy; they have an in-house sommelier. As a foodie, I was blown away by this place.
