Its been quite a while since I’ve been to the chupacabra but I love it. It’s just good food. Nothing special or fancy about it. If you’re hungry you come here order something just the way you like it, eat and it’s good. Simple! Customer service is great and easy ordering. Haven’t been able to find the truck in a while though.

Today I ate at the Chupacabra food truck at the Hardywood Brewery and it was not my cup of tea. I ordered 2 Carnitas Tacos with corn tortillas for $ 7. Both of my tacos were loaded with pork fat and barely any meat :-/Actually pork fat was the majority of the taco filling. Definitely not worth $ 7 but I did get decent service.

I’m trying to eat my way through all of the food trucks, and so last week I ate at Chupacabra. I ordered a burrito, I believe with pork, which was a perfectly good burrito. My wife got steak tacos, which were far from perfectly good tacos. In fact, they were bad. They committed two taco sins. First, the steak resembled that which you would get in, say, the lunch line at a middle school(its taste was perhaps only one step up from that). Second, I am sure that the corn tortillas were opened from a package, put on a plate, and had food piled on it. As anyone(like me) who has tried to wing taco-making can tell you, this results in tortillas that easily fall apart, and not in a good way. If you go, order the burrito, but beware the highly disappointing tacos; hopefully, they will improve their taco-making capacities soon.
