Leslie and the vcu midwives are phenomenal. The entire experience (from the office visits to the labor and delivery) was perfect — better than we ever even knew to hope for. Every visit, I felt like I was the only patient being seen that day, every visit was a conversation and every question was always answered. Leslie was amazing during labor and delivery and I truly cannot imagine having a baby any other way or with anyone else. We are so fortunate to have VCU and these amazing midwives right here in Richmond. If you want the opportunity to labor, unmedicated and at your own pace, I highly recommend the midwives at VCU. You could not ask for a better group of women to be on your birth team.
