Golden Shrimp

I went there on a Friday during Lent so I expected a big crowd. Since there were only a few people there in front of me, I decided to give it a try. I ordered two kinds of shrimp, jalapeño poppers and fries. I waited as they called numbers getting closer to mine, and when they were one away, I got up and moved closer to the counter. Most of the orders were similar to mine (shrimp or fish and a side or two). Then they called the number after mine, and the one after that… and the one after that… so when the line died down, I asked the young lady if they had lost my order as I had been waiting 25 minutes already and now there were orders close to mine but with higher numbers getting their food. She asked the cook who said mine was almost ready, so I stepped back and waited. They delivered food to two or three tables in the dining room (folks who had arrived after I did) and a person I know walked up to me and said I didn’t look happy. I told him he was correct and told him what was going on.
They finally called my number after 40 minutes and when I questioned why such a simple order would take 40 minutes, I was given a very snippy remark — «We were busy». When I asked how all the folks with similar orders were served before me even after arriving after me, she just walked away in a huff. Not exactly what I would call stellar customer service.
We have lots of choices where to spend our «fast food money» (I hesitate to call this fast food anyway) and it will be a LONG time before I consider spending mine there since I know of at least a couple places I can get better shrimp and get better service. I would rank the food as average but the service (aside from the order taker) left a lot to be desired!

For the quality they serve the price is
fishy taste. The shrimp is on point perfectly seasoned. The fried are fried well with a good coating of seasoning as well.

Best shrimp I ever had hands down!!! Seasoned to perfection! I WILL be making frequent visits! Don’t pass this place up! Mouth watering!

I tried their chicken tonight. It was okay. The fish was still better.
