This company can’t be beat! Just got finished today with my first home inspection and couldn’t wait to get home and write a positive review. The inspector was kind, thorough, informative, helpful, and extremely friendly. He took his time to really look over my home, while newer, he didn’t assume anything and really gave it the in depth look it deserved. The inspector didn’t mind that I tagged on for a bit to ask questions, see what he was looking at, and to get his honest and straight forward opinion. If you are looking for a great inspector that will look over your home and have you feeling confident all the issues were investigated-​this is the company for you. Eric did an awesome job inspecting our new construction million dollar house in Alexandria, VA. He effectively communicated his plan and his results and thoroughly answered all of our many questions about the property. He found numerous problems that we made the builder fix for us that otherwise could have costed us an extra 10k later. This is our third property that we own and I learned from Eric that I have a lot to learn about houses. His training with the thermal camera is excellent and he was able to check for many unseen problems that would not appear with a visual inspection.
The home inspection report had high quality pictures in it, was delivered promptly after the inspection, and it was very well organized. Eric communicates efficiently through text messages, emails, and phone calls in order to get a high quality report completed quickly.

I’m not sure what the other reviewer is talking about, sounds like a wind up. Eric inspected my house in the Fan and found some really critical safety problems like reverse wired sockets, and pointed out evidence of water leaks in the roof and basement. I got some reimbursement from the seller to fix various problems. The thermal imaging camera is definitely worth it to spot hidden problems of water leakage and poor insulation. I’d definitely recommend Home Inspex to any serious home buyer.
