Ivey Photography

Ivey does beautiful and unique portraits. We used them for family portraits several years ago and were extremely pleased with everything. This year we used them for our daughters senior pictures and got some beautiful pictures as well. The price to quality/​quantity ratio kept them from five stars for us. Their website states free «gift» prints with an order of a book and a large photo. We did three books and a large photo ($ 4,500.00) and our access to prints was limited, unlike our family session with less money spent! We did a very large metal print that was ordered «painted». We expected vibrant colors like we saw in the studio but the finished product was an exact replica of the photo, and in large form showed a pretty obvious lighting issue around her mouth that wasn’t caught or fixed. It is pretty but we feel little time was spent on it for the money. The books are beautiful and had all the best shots, we were very pleased with them! Also did a great job on our graduation invites and thank you cards.

We spent our evening yesterday with Chris, taking our engagement photos. There is no doubt that we picked the greatest photographer. He is the best around. After viewing his work it wasn’t possible to pick anyone else — his images are in a class of their own, so much better than any other photographer’s that we looked at. We really enjoyed our time with him. He was professional and fun. He has an unbelievable eye and attention to detail. We couldn’t be more pleased with our decision. Can’t wait to see the photos from last night and looking forward to him shooting our wedding pics as well.
