We had the thin crust a few times and it was good. Then we ordered a pan pizza. WTF! Burnt to a char crust, cheese on top so thick it was hard to cut. Oh, yes, we had to cut it because it was not cut in slices.

I don’t know what these other reviews are about. I had the pizza once and said ild never go back. it was worst pizza in midlothian/oak forest area. Overly greasy which indicates a low quality of cheese used. Sause wasn’t very good and the crust was not crisp at all. Much better places in area

Went there tonight for dinner and the Elvis show. What a hospitable place with wonderful food!!’ There was some miscommunication on the phone regarding our reservation. The owner didn’t think twice about accommodating us. We had such an enjoyable evening. The pizza is delicious!

I’ve been eating kenootz thin crust for years and normally I would have given them 4 or 5 stars. Their sauce is on the sweeter side(which I like) ingredients are always fresh(not canned like durbins) but their crust isn’t to crispy unless you ask for it well done. But last night I decided to take advantage of their half off deep dish. And I must say without a doubt it was the WORST disgrace of a pizza I ever had. The dough was raw. Very thick and super chewy, just disgusting. The whole family was disappointed in the quality, you can tell it was rushed, and unfinished. They are definitely out of their league when it comes to good deep dish. I will probably still keep ordering the thin crust in the future, but I won’t be touching any deep dish from this place with a 1 mile pole, which is about the distance to Cuzins down the road who makes an excellent deep dish! Cheerio!

I love their pizza but their customer service skills aren’t so good. Having you on hold forever. Called on New Year’s Day(I know it’s a busy day but still) to let them know when I FIRST received my order it was cold, & it was burnt from one side. I asked to speak with the manager who was by the way EXTREMELY rude. When I called I wasn’t asking for anything. I wasn’t asking for any kind of refund, coupons NOTHING! I was aware it was about an hour or so after I got it. But the point I was trying to make was that it was cold and really burnt. I’ve ordered from there plenty of times before and I’ve never received my food cold or anything like that. When I spoke with the manager she was extremely rude stating they couldn’t do anything for me anymore since its been a hour I got my order. I told her about 3 times I’m not asking for a refund or anything for that matter. All she said was okay mam’ we’ll make a note of it. Thanks for calling and hung up! Definitely lost a customer that night!

The pizza, when made correctly and to order, is seriously great… it’ll feed multitudes of families for multitudes of days. Pro-tip: don’t order garlic on your pizza like I just did tonight, because you’ll get nothing but green olives EVERYWHERE, rendering the pizza bad.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Here’s a tip: order on Mondays. All pizzas are half price for dine-in or carryout.

First impressions are everything… And my first impression of this place with online ordering for pick up and delivery was so impressive to me… But did they deliver? Yes they brought my pizza but did it meet my expectations? No, not really. I was so excited to try this pizza place because the reviews are good, maybe they just had an off day because my pizza was not good. Not by my standards anyway. I was born and raised in Chicago so I KNOW what good pizza is. And this pizza was mediocre at best. My pizza was delivered to me and was not hot, and was rubbery. I can’t stand a rubbery pizza, that to me makes it seem like it’s not real food. I’m willing to give them a second chance, and maybe I’ll try a calzone next time… The flavor of the pizza wasn’t bad but the texture and saltiness of my thin pepperoni pizza was all wrong for me. Please fix.

My husband & I went to Kenootz & ordered a pizza… they told us 15 min & it’d be ready… Came back to pick it up, went home, tasted it, and absolutely LOVED it… WILLALWAYSGIVETHEMBUSINESS!!! Very friendly & prices are great.

Have ordered here a few times and it was just ok. Ordered today and asked for my pizza well done and when I got it home and opened the box to the most pale soggy crust underdone pizza I have ever had. I ate the top of a couple pieces and threw the rest in the trash. I miss Papas in Oak Forest with the thin crispy crust. If you like soggy pizza go to Kenootz if you like thin and crispy you need to look elsewhere.

This a spectacular experience not just for the food. I attended a once in a lifetime event, a pre-planned celebration party for all of the winning candidates of our local election plus their supporters. Why was it once in a lifetime? Because every one of us voted for only the winners of ALL of the races. Possibly even statistically impossible to run and win every race in the town? At least for me at least one of my candidates loses. And we mostly presumed our win! No surprises. The pizza was perfect, lots of different fresh toppings, good sauce and the perfect amount of good quality cheese on a perfect crust. Did I mention the beer and wine were ice cold?

I and my family have ordered pizza for quite a few years from Kenootz food has always been OK. So I saw a Groupon for $ 11 and thought we would get a pizza delivered. OHNO guess again«we don’t do deliveries on Groupon it says right on the Groupon pick up only» I read that Groupon 3 times and nowhere does it say that, only not good on half price Mondays. Talked to the owner and he REFUSED to honor it. Easy way to lose a customer is to be inflexible. I’M GONE.

I actually really enjoy the pizza, but the owner Ken can be quite rude. I regularly order from here and am not trying to nitpick, but he is very regularly shouting making the atmosphere all around uncomfortable. I was also trying to leave with both hands full of pizza, pop and wings, he stood right by the door and made no offer to hold it open or even acknowledge me as a customer. Overall, good pizza but the owner can try to be a bit friendlier to customers and his staff.

Their pizza is delicious with plenty of cheese and a good thin crust! Everyone who works there is friendly. Their prices are reasonable, and they always have some kind of special going on and available coupons. Their portion sizes are generous. Plus, you always see them involved in various community activities and with organizations!

Service is good, everyone nice and friendly. Garlic cheese bread pretty good, fresh and hot. The jalapeño poppers were ok.

Went there to see my pal Keytar genius Jeff Abbott do a rare local live show. He was great. Part of the show was a little Pizza buffet, which was actually tasty, if a little cold. Can’t comment on any of the other food, ‘cos the pizza was all I had. Was it Home Run Inn? No, not at all. Was it edible enough to go back for seconds and thirds? Absolutely. Midlothian is a mighty cruise from the environs of Breakwind Manor, so we’ll not be dropping by for a casual feed, but if Jeff does another show, we will skip dinner elsewhere, in favor of a Kenootz Pie.

Place was ok. I’ve had better pizza. Cheese was not distributed evenly and the crust was able to be pealed off the bottom of a square. It was weird… I wasnt too mad because I was watching the playoffs so it pretty much distracted me from eating horrible pizza while kicking it. I wont order again though.

Their pizza is consistently good. Great prices. Great service. Haven’t tried any of their sides yet but I can’t wait. They only reason why I gave four stars instead if five is because I like my thin crust a little crispy but its still tasty.
