SWFA made easy money off me. Their customer service had good communication as they tried to tell me where my package is at. Says it shipped and delivered but I never received it. So I’m out $ 150. Had to drive 2 hours away and pay 189 for the same thing. Will not do business with them again.

We love SWFA! When you walk into the store one of the employees greets you, and since my husband has done business with this company for years every time we make the drive here everyone is SO friendly and pleasant to chat with. He also says the new building is a vast improvement on the old location, and while I never saw where they used to operate out of I can believe it – this place is gorgeous! If the shop seems small compared to the building its because they operate their online store out of the warehouse in the back. I think this is also the main reason for their somewhat abbreviated hours of operation. Most recently we were here to offload some old optics, SWFA has always been more than fair on their quotes to sellers in my experience! They also have a great selection of ammo and a pretty impressive display of rifles, pistols, and pretty much anything you could need for either :) They even sell silencers, though the wait time is going to be pretty long to get the paperwork back on them(as with anything class 3 these days, no matter where you buy from). All in all, great business. We will definitely be back again and again :)

I’m new to Ellis County and have passed numerous times in front of it thinking I need to stop in there. I just passed by, it’s the weekend before Christmas and they’re closed! WTH? Now here’s my thought, someone has to much money.. Praise God! Definitely call before stopping or going to this place.

Attempted to make a simple ammo purchase and received an email that my cc had been declined and was asked to call them. Thinking maybe I had input something wrong, I placed the order a 2nd time. Nope, get a 2nd email saying my card had been declined. Being that I used this card for all my online purchases, I know that it works just fine. I decided to call them anyways and was told by the automated system that I was #1 in line and they would be with me shortly. After 15 minutes I decided to opt for leaving a message with my name, phone and order number. Well 48 hrs later I still had not received a call so I replied to the last email from customer service and informed them that I was unable to get through or get a response. Well 24 hrs later I get another email from customer service acknowledging my «request to cancel order»… Thanks for the great customer service Kody Petty… who ever you are… lol

What a great store! I was driving through town and just decided to pop in. I have never been in a gun shop like this. They had tons of great stuff. Very tactical oriented. The prices are great as well. I like how all their gear is out where you can pick it up and look at it. All the gear is top shelf name brand high end stuff but priced like you are buying it online on the cheap. They also carry a great variety of defensive and tactical ammo that most stores don’t have. I ended up leaving with a new Glock and a bag full of ammo. Btw, the same gun in houston is $ 120 more…

I contacted this company because they were referred to me by the company that made grip for a gun I own. This companies price was cheaper than the manufacturers price and they had the items in stock or so that said. I ordered the parts online last night and called them this morning as I had gotten an email from them saying most all the parts are back ordered. When I called them the guy who I spoke with seemed to be bothered by my call. When I explained to him my frustration he didn’t seem to care. He said«we didn’t charge your card until this morning» Which was a lie as they charged my card twice today. Once for the price with all the parts and once for the price with the parts they actually had tying up my fund for days now. When he said that they didn’t charge the card last night I called my bank. They assured me that they did and that if I canceled the order it would take 7 – 10 days to get my money back instead of 2 or so to get my credit back. To top this all off I got an email saying that I MUST sign for this item or pick it up at the UPS location 36 miles from my house. For what? Twenty dollars in parts. This is nuts. I called UPS and asked if they could change the signature required part and they said no due to the fact that the shipper AKASWFA has«EXTREME» restrictions according to the UPS rep set up on their account. When I called they were closed. Who closes at 5pm on a Tuesday. I am extremely disappointed with this company and would never refer them. They have extremely poor communication, offered no credit for my troubles and I am now spending $ 30 in express shipping for product that I am only getting 25% of. So disappointed.
