I have used Terminix for over three years, and am glad to know the house is protected from termites and other pests. The technicians call before coming, are on time and are helpful and informative. They even clean up all the cobwebs on the porch. Once a year they check the crawl space.

This place lost my business to Orkin because they can’t even show up to do an inspection the first time! I called and scheduled an appointment AND took off work to be home when terminix came. I get a phone call from troy a technician the night before my appointment saying he cannot make it out. So I had to call terminix back and explain that troy could not make it out and to send another technician because I already took the day off. The customer service rep said they would take care of it and that I didn’t have to worry and someone would be there. NOPE!!! Noone came or even bothered to call me! So they lost my business immediately. Orkin came out and was very prompt and thorough with the inspection he did. He showed me pictures of the areas around my house that were infested and took his time answering any questions that I had. He even followed up with me on the phone after the inspection just like he said he would and even gave me $ 100 off my treatment plan because I asked for it. Don’t waste your time or money with terminix they will just blow you off and leave you hanging.

This review is for the experience I had with the call center representative when attempting to arrange service, not for service provided. A few weeks ago I had a sugar ant problem in my kitchen. I called Terminix to ask for a quote and got a very hard sell on their Quarterly Pest Control Plan. When quoted an exorbitant price of nearly $ 500 I told the representative I needed to talk to my wife and asked for a reference number so that I could call back. The representative insisted that he had my contact info and that he’d call me instead. I suspect representatives are compensated according to how many of these Control Plans they upsell. I went out to Wal-Mart and bought $ 8 worth of Torro bait stations — they seem to have done the trick.
