Disappointing. May have new owners/managers. The décor is much improved. But that is about it. One server waiting on everyone. I ordered cheese in my eggs, which they forgot, but by the time they came back, it was too late to wait for a new one. So they didn’t even take it off the bill when I did not eat it. Toast was soggy, bacon was average. Overall very disappointing. Too many other choices for the same price close by with better service & food.

Vary good food. Came all the way from ohio. It’s better than home. The building needs help but i did not come for the building. I will be back.

I ate here a couple of years ago very quaint, reminded me of the diners in the mountains. Server as I remember was very nice. Looked like a lot of older people eat here. The hamburger was so delicious, the best you’ll ever eat.

My husband and I have driven past this place so many times saying we wanted to try it, so we finally did. Very disappointed. I ordered a hamburger. Diner burgers are suppose to be the best. Well not when they use prepackaged, patted by a machine frozen hamburger patties… yuck! Won’t be back!

Nasty floor — turned my stomach; took way too long to be served. Have not been back since and don’t plan to ever go back again.

Worst home fries I have ever had. Chopping up french fries abd deep frying them are still french fries. Other than that the rest if tge food was average.

The food is good. If you get the right waitstaff, you will be served well. But just don’t go when there is only 1 ½ to 2 hours left to close, or the manager will not be happy. It would do well to replace the manager with someone who really cares about their work and the customers… someone like Danny.

A great mom ‘n’ pop diner. It’s not a greasy spoon, but is a good bet for breakfast with all the usual menu items.(I love their omelettes.) Clean, bright, and fast, friendly service(and wifi!) Skip the IHOP down the street – come here and enjoy the local color.

Okay diner food and very reasonable pricing. Don’t come expecting the multi page menu of different cuisine offerings found in most larger diners. Small diner and very clean.

Good spot, good food. Not much ambience. They could use a little music in there.

All the comforts of a Waffle House but with local charm. I lived near this place for 12 years before we tried it. The prices are cheap. The food is decent. And the place is full of regulars. I definitely recommend it.

Love a greasy spoon chock full of «local flavor» and honest to goodness country cookin’ with seats at the bar and a few booths DONOT pass Chesterfield Diner by in favor of stopping off at IHOP or Aunt Sarah’s. Do yourself a huge breakfast favor and savor the homemade bisquits and gravy, country ham, grits, eggs, bacon, hash browns, chicken-freid steak and, yes, corn flakes(’cause they got ‘em if ya want ‘em) made by this little road-side, mother/daughter staffed diner on Route 360(Hull Street Road at Genito Road). Non-smokers be warned however, the place smells(and as many of the Nascar decals and backwoods décor seem to suggest by their shared coating of ruddy yellow tones) of decades old ashtrays. The coffee, which I used consider choice before moving out West where I’ve come to understand coffee comes to be perfected, is sub-par unless, of course, you’re used to the standard IHOP pitcher of water-only-browner swill. Bring a friend, a long conversation and smoke ‘em if you got ‘em(while you can).
