Waffle House

Fast and consistently great breakfast. Well seasoned staff that are on the ball all the time. Shirley is my ray of sun in the morning.

Waffle House is usually my go to spot! But this has to be the worst waitress I have ever had! I order my eggs over medium! I like all the egg whites cooked and ONLY the yolk runny! When I got my food I noticed that the egg whites were still running! So I asked the waitress if I can have new eggs because I like all of my egg whites cooked. She looked at me, then the eggs then at her order pad (with a very nasty demeanor) and stated those are cooked over medium and that what you ordered. I agreed with her that I did indeed ordered over medium but I want the egg whites cooked. She said to me well you don’t want what you’re talking about because if you want your eggs over medium the egg whites are never cooked. She was so lucky I was with my co-​workers! I would had some choosy words for her!

When looking for a place to eat late at night … This is an option. Don’t expect fancy, expect food!

Hash browns were over cooked. Server was great.
First bad meal at a WH in all my years going.

It’s waffle house. The service is friendly but I stomach it best after partying all night or spending a summer night on the motorcycle until 2am. Maybe I’m elitist and I just can’t get over sitting down to eat in a dingy, grimy environment unless I have on my Martini goggles but when I do, the food is fine (particularly the pecan waffle). The rating may not be fair just because of the overall presentation.

I like waffle house. I like waffles. I like bacon. I like fried eggs. I like coffee. Waffle house has all of these things all day and all night long. Every waffle house I’ve been to has greeted me with a friendly smile, a warm cup of good coffee, fantastic bacon, awesome hash browns, and dirty silverware. 4 outta 5 ain’t bad.

This Waffle House has always done a good job prepareing my food. I’m always greeted with a Good Morning and they keep my coffee hot.

The place was an older café which you can tell that’s been there for years. The food is pretty good considering what’s around it (nothing, fast food). From the fresh made waffles made to order to the regular bacon and eggs breakfast everything was pretty good. The only thing that I wonder about is how come there was a cop in the diner the entire time…
