Community Health Centers

Found out that this place is a front for a midwife school so that students can get practice (on poor people). They don’t tell you that up front, so its super unethical. Would not recommend.

Community Health Center (CHC) is a clinic for low-​income individuals and families. They have been so amazing. The staff are all very friendly and what impressed me the most was how personable they are. You can tell that they really care. The clinic is located east of the train tracks on 7200 S next door to an Asian restaurant. It can be easy to miss it if you aren’t looking for it.
We first went here because my wife was pregnant and didn’t have any insurance and also wasn’t a US citizen, so she didn’t qualify for any of the programs available. CHC were very helpful and provided us with all the prenatal appointments we needed for very low cost and also helped us apply for emergency medicaid.
We have been coming back for routine check-​ups and they have all been so helpful. I recommend this place to anyone who is in a similar situations as us.
