Salty but great fries best cheesesteaks and meatball sandwich. Kids spaghetti available. Garlic cheese bread is good. Great above average jalepeno sauce great marinara sauce. Greek salad really fresh lettuce and big chunks of feta cheeses with fresh tomatoes which is rare. Seats are usually full you can order online.

Saw this place on Triple D so I wanted to give it a try. Big mistake. The place is dirty, run down and very poorly managed. Not at all how it appears on tv. My girlfriend and I went in a couple hours before closing — there were only 3 other customers in the whole place. Behind the counter there were about 6 or 7 employees just chilling, texting on their phones, listening to their headphones. No one was wearing gloves, no one washed their hands before preparing our food. The kitchen was filthy with bits of food and garbage spread all over the floor. The dining area wasn’t any cleaner. Tables were sticky, garbage cans were overflowing, floor was covered in grime. Overall just a very dirty place. The place was dead so I was surprised that it took almost 15 minutes to make our sandwiches. My meatball sandwich tasted great, but I couldn’t help feeling rather sick eating it. No one likes to eat in filth. Girlfriend didn’t like hers — not sure if it was a problem with quality or personal preference. Overall I’d give this place a 5⁄10. Decent food, bad service, terrible cleanliness standards.

Jerk at the counter refused to melt the cheese on my meatball sandwich. He said the marinara will melt it. I said it doesn’t and never has. He could care less so I just walked out. He seemed happy to lose a customer. F this place! That’s what you get when you hire a bunch of kids!!!

This place was pretty good. My husband had the classic meatball sub. The meatballs were huge! He liked it. They have a jalapeño sauce on the tables that was pretty great too. I had the chicken parm sandwich. It was ok. The best part about it was the bread. The chicken was a little dry. This place is definitely a hole in the wall. I do wish it was a little cleaner but I guess that gives it character.

Horrible with large takeout orders. Ordered for 16 people and they forgot all but 1 order of fries as well as a pregnant lady’s lunch. Of course we had to go back because that’s a lot to just forget. The steak for their philly is disgusting. Fatty and chewy. I will never go here again.

Superb sandwiches, not enough seating in dining area during busy times.

Came for dinner today and wasn’t really sure what to expect so I ordered something that never fails. Spaghetti w/meatballs. The cashier was friendly, the food tasted good, and I really liked their handmade meatballs. I ate some fries off of my friends plate and I gotta say– I’ve never tasted any fry sauce quite like theirs! Will definitely eat here more often!

We got the meatball sub and hot wing sub with fried ravioli and fries. The food was great meat ball sub was amazing as well as the fried ravioli. They have wide variety of condiments but the jumping jalapeño sauce was great highly recommend putting this sauce on your sub. Place was kind of small and could have used a little cleaning only reason I’m giving it 4 stars.

Had a large order for work and it was ready on time. Service good, staff nice. I had the eggplant parmesan entrée. It was pretty good. The eggplant is sliced way to thin for my liking and they were overcooked. Eggplant is not suppoesed to be fried beyond recognition. It was a to-go order so I didn’t notice they forgot my roll until I got back to work. Will try again, but wont’ get the eggplant. They just don’t know how to cook it.

How does this place have good ratings??? The food I got was INEDIBLE!!! Walked in, and about 15 staff members were«chillin» behind the counter. The place smelled like old grease, and there was only one other table in there… Generally that would be enough for me to leave a joint like this, but decided to stay — because of the Unilocal ratings. Ordered a chicken parmesean sandwich: The chicken was pre-cooked, and cut into strips HOURS before it made it into the soggy mess they called a sandwich. The meat was horribly dry, and salt was the only flavor I could make out — basically it looked like one of the kids behind the counter barfed into a bun & sold it to me. The sauce tasted like it was straight out of a can, and I think the«cheese» was actually rubber. ILL!!! so gross, my dog wouldn’t even eat the meat!!! Perhaps the philly cheesesteaks are better, but I’ll never know. I was annoyed that an employee filling the ice machine not only bumped into me hard — & spilled ice all into my new purse(as I was sitting at a table), but also she was having a loud personal conversation with another employee across the room — leaving me(& my husband) in between — we couldn’t even hear each other — they were so ridiculous & unprofessional. Only got one star because there isn’t a zero-star option. Skip it… I will.

Food was great, but the girl at the register was SO rude!!! I wanted to check she heard me say no onions, it was loud with people yelling orders were ready and it was packed. She decided to be snarky and point out a sign(behind her might I say, she had to step out of the way so I could see it after the fact) that said to let them know if you don’t want onions, a common request. She could have said yes, I heard you with a polite smile. Instead, she had to go out of her way to be rude and point out that there was a sign on how to order, and I had already told her. Too bad too, she ruined the experience. She should stop worrying about her fake nails and instead think about how she treats customers.

Tried to get some food here, was stoked to finally try it. Their hours say they close at 10pm, drove up at 8:40 and they’re all locked up.

$ 24.00+ for 2 Philly sandwiched — Extra charge for mushrooms I don’t mind paying that much for a sandwich if it’s worth it, BUT it wasn’t. Felt ripped-off when I saw how much meat it had. Totally not worth it. Won’t be going back.

Love this place and need to come more often, their nice chewy bread and the steak with melted provolone cheese with mushrooms underneath and topped off with pickles.

Horrible. This place is dirty, the staff could use a dose of professionalism, and the FOODWASHORRIBLE. Philly cheesesteak was way overrated. And what the heck was that potato salad??? IT’S POTATOSOUPWITHDILLPICKLEASTHEMAININGREDIENT. GROSS. Save yourself the time, money, and disappointment and head to the DP cheesesteak, or just go make one at home.

I like to eat my sandwiches, not wear them. You know the food is juicy when it leaks through layers of aluminum foil and butcher paper – a stack of napkins should have been included in our to-go bag. The philly steak sandwiches were good, not great. I added sautéed mushrooms and my husband also added peppers. Next time we will both ask for provolone cheese instead of heavy American. The fries were delicious with both the jalapeño mayo and spicy fry sauce. Their macaroni salad was okay – it had shredded carrots and another crunchy green veggie I couldn’t identify. They gave us a free brownie because they messed up our order; it was fudgy with chocolate chips. My favorite steak sandwich will always be from Italian Place in Utah county. My roots.

AVOID! COCKROACHES!!! AVOID! COCKROACHES!!! AVOID! COCKROACHES!!! AVOID! COCKROACHES!!! AVOID! COCKROACHES!!! AVOID! COCKROACHES!!! Ordered 16 sandwiches for my office(last of several large orders for the staff), most of the office had already ate their sandwiches when one of my coworkers discovered the roach in his half eaten sandwich, needless to say we threw away the remaining sandwiches. I called and asked to speak to a manager to get our money back, and that’s where the fiasco with this restaurant began. Not only did we find a cockroach in the food but the management was rude and called me a liar, even though I have photographic evidence of the cockroach in the cheese steak sandwich. A simple«sorry here’s your money back» would have sufficed and no Unilocal review would have been written, but Don was argumentative and rude. Do yourself a favor and avoid an illness by not eating here.

They do a very good cheesesteak sandwich. The fries are also good, but the onion rings are kind of flavorless and grease logged. It’s busy, but the line goes quickly. I like having a «greasy spoon» option like this in my pocket. This restaurant goes into our rotation.

The jumping jalapeño sauce is amazing!!! Eat it on everything: fries, sandwiches, meatballs and more. I really like their meatball subs. The meatballs are really delicious and I want to take a loaf of their bread home every time. I of course put a generous helping of jumping jalapeño sauce on this as well. Be careful though their sandwiches are messy and not for the faint of heart. The gyro sandwich is also really good, with lots of tasty meat. Their fries are really good, crunchy and salty. They are some of my favorite fries around. The place is a little divey, but it adds to the delicousness of the subs. We’ve tried their philly cheesestakes, which is what they are famous for, but they really weren’t that great. Stick to the meatballs.

Supposedly, Moochies was way better than they are currently from what I heard, but since I have not had them before until recently, I have nothing to compare with. They are located at the convenience State St location. Parking in the front seems very limited, but they have more on the side and back. The décor is not much on the inside, and it was bit below most fast food restaurants. I had the Philly Cheesesteak from them a few times and they were always good. They have a grilled cheese, and it was ok. Other sandwiches were not very good though like the Sausage and Pepper I had the other night had cold sausages inside, not very appetizing for a hot sandwich. The Gyro was a just a mouthful of veggie. The Hot & Spicy Wings sandwich was a disaster with dried chicken with onions and lettuce, and not remotely close being spicy. Their meatballs had been very inconsistent. However, they do have decent side items. Fries is always a good choice, they have sweet potato ones as well. The jalapeño sauce although not spicy, made a very good dipping sauce. They have this interesting new side called Fried Ravioli had a nice flavor to it. Despite what other have said about them, I think they are still one of the better places to get Philly Cheesesteak in South Valley. I would just ditch the other sandwiches. The place was clean enough. This location opens until 10:30pm now, before was always a rush to leave after dinner there.
