We thought we’d try a new place. What a disappointment. The environment wasn’t inviting, it felt like a hospital cafeteria. They were out of chicken, every flavor except root beer on the soda machine was broken. The serving sizes were small and over priced. The pulled pork was fatty and the brisket was extremely dry. We could have gotten much more for our money at Famous Dave’s.

The Sweet Tea, mixed with some of their homemade Lemonade is tasty! Will be getting more of that –definitely!

Saw them at the Gallivan food truck Thursday and was craving some bbq. I had to try their pulled pork sandwich. The pork was ok but nothing to brag about. The spicy sauce was not that spicy. The roll was a little big and dry. I might try them again if the chance arises.

Melt in your Mouth BBQ. This was some of the best BBQ I have ever had and it was right down the street from where I work. I found the truck near the 7 – 11 off califonia and 215. I bought a pork sandwich and its a hoagie roll filled with mouth watering flavorful pork bbq and covered with sauce.

Q4U was sitting outside Salt Lake ComicCon, filling the queue of costumed fans with the glorious scent of «real» Q. I was hungry, and Gandalf wasn’t offering any free Second Breakfast, so I thought I’d give it a try. I grabbed their«BBQ Sundae» to go on my walk home. It’s an interesting idea — imagine a sundae cup(or something bigger, like a large ice cream shake cup) with pulled pork at the bottom, baked beans in the middle, and topped with cole slaw. You get crispy creamy slaw with the smoky savory of the ‘q — all in a convenient one-handed container. Overall, I liked it. The critical flaw with the sundae, I think, is that it’s hard to get a bite of everything at once– digging down to get pulled pork without spilling all the slaw is tricky — and really, the«every flavor in one bite» shtick is what makes it unique. Also, while the beans and the pork were tasty, I didn’t feel like they were particularly unique. Nice and smoky, but pretty sweet. I’m not sure I call Q4U Cue-Man, with powers of delivering smoky meat to every citizen of the Free World, but maybe Cue-Boy, the ever-faithful barbecue sidekick who belongs to the Hall of Food Truck Justice. Maybe their non-BBQ in a cup fare is even better, and I’d be willing to give them a try again.

The truck is located in the Sportsman’s parking lot off of 7200 S and the 15. You order at the truck counter, then they hand you a take-out container which has your bread and sides, then you go around the truck to the smoker, and get your bbq meat cut for your order. For $ 10, I got the 4 rib special, which came with a choice of 1 side, and 1 slice of white bread. They had collard greens today which was not listed on their menu. Got the baked beans which were ok/average, could’ve possibly been from a can, I don’t eat them enough to distinguish a difference or really care. Sliced bread was soft and pliant. The ribs were tasty. Enjoyed their BBQ sauce. All the rib meat was easily pulled off the bone with little residual hanging back on it. Meaty ribs, not too much fat, and moist. Also got a free rib, after I paid which I thought was cool. Usually places will try to entice you by giving you a free sample BEFORE you order, but nice man who did the BBQ, let me sample an extra piece after I had already bought and paid, which he of course didn’t have to. Will come again. The truck is only at this location on Saturdays. Sunday they’re at another location. FYI, there was also a kettle corn booth in the same parking lot.
