This place is decent. The salsa bar is fantastic! I love the opportunity to try all different kinds. It is wonderful! The mango salsa is my favorite! I also had a pineapple chili margarita, very different but delicious! I am from Colorado so our Mexican food is hard to surpass, but like I said it was decent. I had carnitas taco and a Chile relleno. Carnitas tacos were great! But the chile relleno was terrible. My husband had the lamb tacos and wasn’t a fan.

This restaurant is amazing. The salsa bar is indescribable. I love anything I try here. The verde is Phenomenal. I like both kinds of beans. The rice is great Now on to drinks. They are all amazing. But the Ginger Margarita is beyond words! Every employee smiles. The live music is always original and perfect for the mood. I recommend you try it all, don’t forget the shrimp cocktail!

We, like many others, we’re looking for a good place to eat when we went to the ice castles. We turned to Unilocal, and decided that we would have Mexican. We called ahead and made a reservation because we had 6 adults and 5 kids. Upon arrival, we found a long line to order food. We managed to flag someone down and told them we had a reservation, which they acknowledged but that was the last we heard from them. We stood in the line for about 15 minutes and then the man taking orders loudly announced that it would be at least another 20 minutes before any tables opened up. We, along with more people who had to get to the ice castles about an hour later, gave up and drove he town looking for something quicker.

Victims of their own success. 1:45 hr wait for food I had send back. It was my favorite Mexican restaurant in Utah, but no more. Their chiles rellenos were embarrassing; tiny and as if they’re were a week old and just deep fried again before serving. Their kitchen(visible from part of the restaurant) was a shitshow worthy of a Gordon Ramsey hissy fit. They simply have too many tables for their kitchen output and staff of 8 people. It’s sad to see it fail like this. It used to be sooooooo good. They were very nice and did give me a $ 50 gift card to use on our dinner for 8.

So much unrealized potential. They’ve got a decent sized menu, with tacos, burritos, and more, and an amazing salsa bar with a lot of good salsas… but the price and food just aren’t that great. We came in, looked over the menu and ordered some carne asada tacos, chili verde burrito, and two drinks for around $ 30. They gave us a good sized amount of chips and we went to find a table. Seating was comfortable and plentiful, with several TVs to watch. Then we saw the salsa bar, full of different kinds. Of the several we tried I really liked the Honey Chipotle and another jalapeño one that I can’t remember the full name of. This was the best part of the meal. After about 8 minutes from when we had ordered we had our food. It looked delicious, but unfortunately didn’t taste as good as it looked. Both of us found our meat to be
