This Dentist ROCKS!
I came to Dr. Steven Kendrick at the MDC for a second opinion after being told I need a root canal and five cavities from Dentistry by Design (see review). Going to the dentist is not top on my list for «fun» things to do.
I was able to easy download the new patient forms from the website. I have Guardian Dental through my employer.
I was quickly greeted when I arrived by Tammy, I waited less than 5 minuted to be brought back to the patent area. My dental hygienist Libby was friendly, warm and reassuring. The patient chair was comfortable memory foam, the holder for the «bib» they use was silicone, not cold metal and there was a 15 inch flat-​screen TV mounted to the chair right in front of me tuned to the price is right, which I never get to see, because I’m at work lol.
X-​rays and detailed pictures (like in the dental books) were taken with a high quality camera were taken of my teeth. This was followed with a gentle quality cleaning. I then meet the dentist. He told me it was his responsibility to answer all my questions and ensure that I left informed, I felt empowered. My question were answered and I was told that I id not require any extensive dental work, no cavities and no cavities, just staining (coffee and smoking) bad I know, but don’t judge ;p
I will be going back in six month for my cleaning.
It took a month to get an appointment, but it was worth it (:
