We had just woken up and parked the bus after a drive from Aurora, IL and had the sour realization that we had no coffee on the bus. Ryan and I were both sad at this horrid realization as we had work to do and we are frightfully addicted to coffee. He asked me if I was hungry at all and I agreed in my response but proclaimed that above all, I needed coffee like a fish needs water. So we spotted that there was a Dunkin’ Doughnuts ½ mile away from our hotel and walked over there. It was a bit confusing to find but turned out to be inside of a Circle K. The Circle K has a beer cave. This was amazing. The DD was clean and the lady workin’ was nice. The coffee was strong but she was the only one working and when the drive-through got backed up, the family of corn-huskin’-basket-ball-playin’-good-olé-middle-of-America-American’s did not have the patience to wait a few extra minutes and became livid. I got my bagel and coffee, it was tasty. Ryan had something with egg which he said was fair but the hash browns were killer. Hans was workin’ on photos on the bus.
