Amazing! We did the class IV full day, Magalloway river in Maine and i can’t wait to come back next year! Our guides Lynn and Pat were second to none. For only about $ 20.00 more then the other rafting companies that did two runs down the 3miles of rapids, we did four and had time for sone white water swimming. Lunch was great too! I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a good time. You will not be dissapointed!

I booked our annual corporate retreat with North Woods figuring it would be a great team-building, teamwork-enforcing activity. But it turned out to be so much more. Everyone at North Woods was more than accommodating to my hectic scheduling, questions and large group. We opted for the Magalloway River trip, which was a great choice. The rapids were exciting enough, but not too scary for those of our novice rafters. Wetsuits were provided(thank goodness) as was lunch(make your own sandwiches, chips and homemade cookies). Our guides(Lincoln and Pat) were amazing — knowledgeable, friendly and funny — you could tell they really love what they do, and they kind-of let us decide how we wanted our day to go, at our own pace. I highly recommend North Woods, and we hope to be back soon

We went here on our little get-away weekend to New Hampshire to see the sunrise from Mt Washington. We had a day to do outside fun activities and we wanted to do some kayaking. I had seen this website before we went up during driving around we stumbled upon North Woods Rafting. So we had no actual plan and just decided to ask the owners if we could rent some kayaks for the afternoon. Lincoln and his wife Heather were some of the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever met. They set us up with 2 kayaks, a wet suit, dropped our car off at the end point and then went to drop us off where we were starting ONHISSON’S BIRTHDAY! Now, they were completely open for business so we weren’t dodging around the kid’s clown or anything, but wow, still felt kinda bad. The ride itself wasn’t the most fun thing ever(hard headwind and just plan old out-of-shapeness) but I’ll give it a shot again sometime. They also do rafting trips and groups and stuff and everyone else that we saw seemed to have a great time. OH, and they give you cookies when you are finished =)
