This is a cool brewery in the small town of Milan. The beer and food is good and the bar itself has a cool vibe to it. They also have a nice outdoor beer garden to relax with friends over a beer.
My favorite beer is the southpaw IPA. I also like the County Street Amber. If you like porters, then the Porter is also tasty.
The food is also pretty good. They serve delicious sandwiches made with gourmet meats and cheeses. For a place that only serves sandwiches and snacks, a lot of thought went into the menu.
Overall, I highly recommend OG. I go there whenever I get the chance.
We went out of our way to check out Original Gravity on a slow summer night and it was worth the 20 drive from Ann Arbor.
This place is your standard tap room, order at the counter with a list of the beers on a chalkboard. I ordered a sampler of 5 pours for $ 10. I liked the Southpaw IPA the best. The rest of the beers had some pretty strong flavors but were all very drinkable.
The food was great! Menu looks like basic sandwiches all using Boars Head meats, but they were absolutely delicious! We had the turkey and guacamole and the buffalo chicken. The sourdough bread was really good and it was toasted, yum! The chips are Zapps, mostly the harder to find flavors. Can’t go wrong.
We sat inside, but there was a nice looking patio too. Service was nice, we came in right when they stopped doing food — but they made it for us anyway.
