Ate here for lunch with my mom and grandma. Disappointed that my food came out cold, we also were waited on after two other parties were seated and helped, although we arrived prior. Shelly was our server. Not sure if she was having a bad shift or what. She barely checked on us compared to other servers I saw in the restaurant. My waffle was so hard I could barely cut it, but since she never came around I ate most of it anyway because I was hungry and I didn’t want it to take another 20 minutes for a waffle. The bacon (which I didn’t eat) came out cold as well.

This place has been a staple of the Milan community for many many years. It has consistently provided a great place for locals and those traveling through to feast. I’ve been extra impressed recently too seeing all the wonderful updates to the place and with their menu. They not only have great traditional home cooked meals but also fun things like the southwest chicken wrap — which is my favorite. Highly recommend anyone is Southeast Indiana stop in here for a meal!

Good food but NOT clean. Dead flies in the window sills and grimy floors. I would hate to see what the back looks like if they were that careless about the front of the house. Good service though.

This is, by far, the best place to come eat if you are in Southeast Indiana. The business is a family one that shows that family and faith are the ingredients to a successful business recipe.
Wide menu choice and friendly wait staff exist at this diner that is especially busy on the weekends. They have a breakfast buffet now in the mornings on weekends that has true value for their favorites.
One of the waitresses makes homemade pies for your selection, and can even make whole pies for take-​home!
Comes with my highest recommendation.

Great staff. Great breakfast. I stopped in with a group of 7 guys and they did a great job taking care of us.

Nice dependable breakfast spot. Staff is always friendly and fast o fill your coffee cup. I always get the Hungry Man Breakfast and their biscuits and gravy ate excellent as well.
