Bzak Landscaping

Terrible customer service — really the worst I have ever come across. There are several great nurseries and tree people in town. This is not one of them.
I stopped in to look at some trees. I needed three and could only find two so I asked a staff person if there were any more. She (reasonably friendly, if a bit unknowledgeable) showed me about 8 small trees. The trees were cut in an odd manner and not having owned this type of tree before I asked if this was normal and if so what is the best way to ‘train’ them. She thought they were cut odd as well but didn’t know why and said she would have to ask the tree guy ‘Dave’. I asked if it would be possible to speak with Dave and she said she would see if he was around. When she came back I was told that Dave said (and I quote) «if you don’t like the trees then don’t buy them». I said ‘Well, that tells me everything I need to know — thank you,” and left.
What I didn’t mention is that I was also going to talk with them about custom landscaping my front yard, building some walls and designing a large, multi-​level garden. But that one sentence let me know that this was a company that I wouldn’t trust with even small projects let alone landscaping. All I can say is walk away from this one. No, run.
PS: Re: pricing… I had just purchased a tree from another place and saw the same tree (size, shape, quality) at Bzaks. I paid $ 125, they were asking $ 330. The reason I went to Bzaks for these other three trees is the original place didn’t have a specific variety I was looking for.

This place may have the best pricing in the city for your landscaping needs. Good quality plants.
