I’ve been a member here for about 6 months now and I love it. The staff is super friendly, it always very clean, and the pool is great for kids.
The cost is more than most gyms out there, but you have to think about what you are getting for your money. You’re not just getting a gym membership, your getting access to a pool, classes, and also great discounts for activities for your children. Also, the Y gives back to the community.

I started going to this Y about three weeks ago. Sometimes the treadmills are pretty packed, especially when I think it should be on the slower side (9am or so). It’s nice to watch sometimes hunky guys (shhh, don’t tell my husband) do pull ups as I sweat it out on the treadmill. However, sometimes someone who smells like garlic will get on a treadmill next to you and you have to run the other way off the treadmill to breathe.
I loved the ZUMBA and Cross Training class I’ve taken. This will be my year to get fit and the Y here in Milford is going to help me do it! :)

This place is pretty expensive for no really good reason. The pool is soooo dirty, they have not cleaned it in YEARS it looks like. Dirt and scum all over the bottom and sides and annoying lifeguards that stare at you as you swim in very close proximity. I would be more willing to drop 150 bucks for this place not 500! the staff is friendly, but not really worth the money if all you do is lift weights.

This is a five star gym, BUT holy cow is it pricy even with discounts. The trainers are good, but also pricy. I had Beth, who is no longer there, but she made me work!!! Inside and outside of the building. If you can afford it, I highly recommend it. You do get a free session when you join, and I highly recommend/​urge you to do so. The trainers really gave me some tips on things to try that I have never done before. The building is really pretty. The pool and locker rooms are nice. The temperature is right. I love that the machines are computerized and remeber your settings for weight, seat height, reps, etc. When I moved out of town and tried to cancel my membership, I recall being very unhappy with the billing and customer service. Make sure you give advanced notice or you will be billed even if you move far away. I did not think that was very «Christian» of the «Christian» organization. Child care is available. They also have basketball courts. Indoor pool only.

Highland, MI
This is a top notch fitness center and one of the best YMCA anywhere. You can find something for everyone in the family to enjoy. The staff is exceptional and they offer many programs and an awesome pool. Hope to see you there!
