Outstanding burgers, good service, they understand how to do gluten free well, explain cross contamination risks for fried foods. A bit of a wait for lunch, maybe 20 minutes for a party of 2. Excellent beer and bourbon selection, definitely want to try it we come back for dinner some day(we live far away).

Whenever my boyfriend and I want to eat out but don’t know where to go, we end up here. Consistency means everything to me and when I come here, I know I’m going to have an excellent burger and some tasty truffle fries. I’ve experimented a bit through the years with the variety of burgers they offer and while all were good, my tops would have to be the three cheese burger or the bacon cheeseburger. The beef they use is top quality so you really can’t go wrong. The wait is never long and the staff is friendly. I can only recall one time where a waitress was not that great and I haven’t seen her since. Also, one time we were seated and the booth was completely wet from just being wiped down. Wet jeans are no fun. Still, an overall great experience.

Very underwhelming. High prices for the quality of the food. Fries and burgers both lacked. I’ve tried a couple different burgers here and found them both to be over cooked. Would not return here again.

Food is always delicious, staff is always friendly, wait times are never too long, and you always have the option to sit at the bar. During the week they do a game night/karaōke which is very fun. Turkey burger/salads/appetizers are phenomenal. Not a big fan of beef but everything else I’ve eaten from here is top notch.

I have been to Plan B several times over the past few months and each and every time they do not dissapoint. Great beer and bourbon selection to go with the best burgers. My favorite is the Cuban. Enjoy!

Best burgers I’ve had outside my house. They are very fresh and cook it to perfection. There bourbon bbq sauce is the. There fried mac-n-cheese balls are so good and flavorful. Staff is nice and professional. I would recommend to anyone who wants a great burger and good staff at a very eclectic environment. I love the layout.

We decided to try Plan B instead of our usual stop at Prime 16 and right from the start I could tell we were in for disappointment. I was there with my family and the hostesses took a while to acknowledge us as they were far too busy hanging out and chatting with the other staff members. Not the end of the world, but a little annoying. We were then told it would be a 15 minute wait even though there were a few empty high top booths available in the bar area. I asked about those and the hostess said,…“oh yeah, those…” This was not a great start and although our waiter was very nice, we couldn’t find him when we needed him. The food was pretty good, but we would be hard pressed to return with all of the other options in the area. Quite frankly, I would rather go to Smash Burger which is a far better service experience.

ehhhh — dined there in Dec. because we wanted a gourmet burger. Not impressed. Average burger at best and I said that with every bite(yes, I did finish the burger as I was hungry). Have not eaten here in several years and decided to try it again. Save your money. The Dive Bar in Milford has better burgers or Rory’s in Darien. Bar has good selection of bourbon, etc. But if they ever had a knack for gourmet burgers, it did not show on my last visit.

I have always had great burgers here — Baja is by far my favorite followed by Three Shrooms. I like the variety in the menu, from chipotle with jalapeño and avo to a simple tavern burger. Meat is juicy and delicious, my only gripe is that the temperature is sometimes inconsistent. What I like about this place is that it satisfies the bourbon nerd, beer enthusiast and burger lover. They are also gluten-free friendly. We go and taste our way through great bourbons, rare bourbons and get to pig out on Blue Chip special– house made chips with blue cheese and jalapeños. It’s family friendly and price is right!

Plan B nailed my first gourmet CT burger experience. Went with a group of 6 the day after Christmas(yes somehow I managed to muster up the room in my gut) for some juicy burgers. I was promised a memorable experience by my company, who used to frequent this spot many times, and was not disappointed. We were supposed to be a party of 8, and surprisingly, this wasn’t an issue when we requested our table(we arrived at 11:45, so pretty much getting toward the peak of lunch time). The hostess was very friendly and showed us right to our spacious table. Turns out 2 of our party was unable to make it but the staff didn’t give us a hard time about the table being for 8 and rearranged it to make it better suited for our party of 6. Beer selection was definitely noteworthy and I coated my pre burger belly with an old Rasputin. Only $ 5.50 for a draft !? Score. Our server was prompt in bringing our drinks and didn’t rush us to put in our order. Now for the meat of my review. HA! Oh that burger. I opted for the 3 shrooms burger and added a fried egg to it. I chose the sweet potato fries as my side. The fact that I could actually taste the truffle aoli was pretty much enough to seal the deal for me. The meat was great. I got mine«with pink» and it was juicy as anything. The only thing that didn’t knock my socks off was the bun it came on. It was just your average white bun, which didn’t match the quality of such a great burger. Fries were average but the review is on the burger bar right? ;) Overall, definitely would return. I left satisfied and was not let down by the plan b hype. Good beer, great service, and an above average burger gets me every time.

I rated up from a 3 ½ star because the food was fresh, hot and tastes very good. I wavered because my burger seemed a bit small and overdone and I’m not so sure the bourbon BBQ sauce was actually put on my burger. I had a burger with fresh mozzarella, sautéed onions, bourbon BBQ sauce and garlic mayo on the side on a whole wheat bun. My burger came out on the wrong bun, too. They did fix it but the bun was a bit hard. Not toasty hard but stake hard. There were maybe a tablespoon’s worth of grilled onions and they did taste somewhat of BBQ sauce. I got the sweet potato fries. Nothing special but good. Others at the table had a veggie burger, chicken burger and a burger«in the grass» which was nicely presented on a large flat wedge of iceberg lettuce. We shared the green fries which were green beans that seemed boiled, blanched and then sautéed to heat up with a touch of oil and salt. They were quite good. We were told the fancy fries were made from frozen. Not so fancy, so we didn’t get them. The steak fries are freshly cut and were excellent. FYI, lemonade isn’t freely refilled.

Came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of French fries they offer(truffle, Parmesan, disco, steak, as well as homemade chips and tater tots)!! I got the pretzel burger which is a burger with pickles and grainy mustard on a pretzel bun and a side of truffle fries. The fries were delicious and I enjoyed them more than the burger. There was too much bun for the size of the burger. I still enjoyed it but it wasn’t the best I’ve had. I don’t remember our waitress’s name but she was very friendly and very attentive. Very good service!

Excellent service yummy burger and kick ass French fries. Probably 10 or so different burgers available with many other options ranging from Mac and cheese to salads. Reasonably priced too. My girlfriend chose truffle fries and I couldn’t stop picking them off her plate

This place doesn’t need my reviews. It’s phenomenal. Everything a burger bar should be. Great quality meat cooked to perfection and well crafted cocktails that a perfect balance of «tasting like juice, but feeling like vodka.» Do yourself a favor and get the pickles and peppers app and truffle fries for your side. There was nothing but perfection delivered by our incredibly witty, attentive but not overbearing waiter Tom or the culinary magic we experienced. Only reason there’s not five stars and this is reaching — is you have to provide your phone number for your wait instead of a buzzer, which is fine it let us shop for our 40 minute wait. But now I keep getting text messages asking for feedback. I followed up with the«stop» text and that worked but it felt a little intrusive.

I thoroughly enjoyed my burger. I thought the meat was tasty and well seasoned and the cheese was nice and gooey(I ordered the Big Mini). I also really enjoyed my truffle fries. The fries were perfectly cooked the way I enjoy which is thin and crisp. I wish all places could do their fries like Plan B does. The only thing I didn’t like about the burger was the bun. The bread wasn’t that great but if it was more fluffy and less dense, I think it would’ve been the perfect burger. Service was great, nicely decorated, nice beer selection. I would definitely eat here again.

Super swell parmesan cheese fries and tater tots. Veggie burgers are hearty. Can’t speak on their meat burgers but I hear they’re also dank af.

So I have eaten here twice. I had eaten at Prime 16 first and then hear 2 other times. In comparison I like the burgers better at Prime and the side options better at Plan B. Also Prime has better beer choices and happy hour prices. Food: I had a pretzel burger with truffle fries. Burger patty itself had very little flavor. It was good quality beef but the pretzel bun itself was super salty like they buttered and salted the bun. Ha. TRUFFLE fries. Not even close they were good fries but pretty much just had a dash of herbs thrown on. I could find no truffle oil at all. Overall this place is fine but a little to hit or miss for me. I am going to try prime again and if I like my 2nd visit I will probably go there instead.

The last couple of visits have been tough. Cold food, old good, not very tasty food. Not going to dwell on the negative so I will just say the lobster roll is not fairly priced(teeny weenie, think poppers), and fries must always be served piping hot or not at all.

The Food was very good. Fresh meat, lots of flavor, the Nachos were amazing. They were very accomodating of my children, allowing me to order mini burgers by the piece. I ordered the New Englander, a lobster and hamburger combination with Disco Tots(yes gravy and cheese covered tater-tots!) one word. AMAZING. great place for friends, families, groups etc. Friendly wait staff and very attentive. Well worth it to give this place a try.
