I visited this place after purchasing a LivingSocial deal for a message and facial combo. The price was great at $ 59. The ambiance was relaxing. The facial came with extractions and I was pleased. The massage was also good aside from their massage products being cold when placed on my skin. I will likely try another service.

I really enjoyed my facial and massage by Chelsea. She did a great job and was highly professional. Even my husband enjoyed his session with Haven.
I would totally come back here but I don’t know if I will because we left smelling like cigarette smoke on our clothes. Getting a facial and massage is such a unique experience that leaving smelling like smoke is not something that I would expect.
But I think if that’s not a big deal for you — then you’ll really enjoyed coming here.

Today I enjoyed one of the most relaxing facial /​massage with Autumn. This was my first visit to The Face Place and they exceeded my expectations. Thank you Autumn, you are very talented !!! I will be a repeat customer. :) Sam

Checked this place out because I bought a Groupon and enjoyed my facial and massage! Atmosphere was calm but casual and staff was friendly and very accommodating.

The experience itself was decent but the massage wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. The people were friendly and spent a lot of time with me and told me about all of the products. I used the living social deal and added a few things on. HOWEVER the entire place smelled like cigarettes and was not clean. I currently smell like an ashtray and I’m allergic to cigarette smoke so my eyes are now burning and I’ve been coughing since I left. I even came to my mom’s after and she said «ew why do you smell like cigarettes!!!». I don’t like that I left feeling grungy but if a massage therapist smelling like cigarettes is relaxing to you then I would recommend this place. Because of this I will probably not return.

I had my first massage here by Kathy and it was wonderful and unique. She incorporated hot stones into my massage. Most places you have to do one specific massage and here you can mix and match a little bit and it is fantastic!

I scheduled a couples massage for my boyfriend and I (it was his first massage ever) and they went above and beyond to make us both comfortable. They were very conscious of some of his previous injuries and took care to work accordingly. Everyone was very professional, personable, and we never felt rushed. We will definitely be returning!

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! I found the $ 59 groupon deal and called them to see if they would be available for my appt before I bought it… because of all of the negative reviews. I have absolutely no idea why anyone would NOT like this establishment. I left a message on their voicemail and within 5 mins they called me back. She told me that I could get that $ 59 deal without having to go through groupon. I booked it for two days later. I got Crystal, who was fabulous! She did my massage, facial, eyebrow waxing and dermaplaning… all for $ 89!!! There’s no way that you could get ALL of THAT at Mitchell’s, for THAT kinda price. What is dermaplaning? It’s where they take a razor and scrape it all over your face to remove the top nasty layer of dead skin and ‘lil hairs. Might sound scary, but it doesn’t hurt at all. My face feels smoother than a baby’s butt. Maybe they saw the negative reviews and made some changes. Either way, this place is unbelievable and I will be returning often. Fyi, as soon as you get to the intersection by the UDF and the police dept, look for the side street Wallace and turn left onto it. It’s right past the traffic light. That’s where you park… for your affordable and heavenly day of beauty

Yes, it’s a little spot in Milford but it’s a great little place! If you don’t live close by, plan to make a day of it. It’s a sweet little area full of antique shops, gift shops, a coffee shop, donut shop, cupcake chop, chocolate shop, bars, bistros and even a little place to have a proper tea! C’mon folks, isn’t Unilocal all for supporting local business’?
I have been to The Face Place twice now. I’ve used a Groupon and a Living Social promo and have learned that if can get the same price next time without using a promo. That’s great! I’ve had the dermaplaning and the chemical peel with a massage added. Kathy is great! I love her massages, the hot, moist towels at the end are a great touch.
This time, I also added a Shellac manicure for only $ 25! Such a great way to spend some much anticipated ME time!
After my skin was sloughed, muscles massaged, and nails perfectly polished I headed out to the shops. My idea of a perfect day! Ladies, don’t forget to bring your makeup bag and hair brush, those headbands don’t do you any favors if you have bangs. :)

I purchased the Groupon Ultimate Package and scheduled my appointment online with no problems. I received email confirmation of my appointment as well 24 hours before the appt. I was pleased with my facial and even though it wasn’t a deep tissue massage, I was very relaxed and even fell asleep at one point. I will likely return for another facial and will schedule an appointment with the massage therapist for a deep tissue.

I had a great experience! I purchased a Living Social deal for the «Ultimate Relaxation Package,» which included a facial and massage in one 90-​minute session, and I had no trouble using their website to book my appointment — so easy. I had read some lukewarm and poor reviews about the place before my appointment, so I wasn’t sure what I would encounter. I found that none of what was said in the negative reviews was true, at least for my experience. The staff was very professional (Chelsea performed my services), the building and room were clean and serene, and Chelsea was very capable with both the facial and the massage. I loved the combined treatment, which meant I got the relaxing muscle relief I needed out of the massage and the skin care attention out of the facial, and I never had to leave the room! It was a great experience and I would not hesitate to return again.

I purchased a Groupon certificate for a massage/​facial combo, and called the same day to make my appointment. I never had an issue getting a hold of someone, I even called the morning of my appointment to confirm my time and reached someone immediately. The location is a little difficult to find, but I did find it without a problem and I have a terrible sense of direction.
The inside is not your typical spa, it looks like it’s an old house that has been converted. It’s obvious they did their best to encourage a tranquil atmosphere with some fountains and other decorations.
I was shown to my room and I was a little surprised that I was put in a room with two massage tables, but I found everything to be clean. The sheets were fine, no wrinkling or stains like another reviewer stated.
I enjoyed my facial, I never felt like I was being sold products. If anything I wish she would have explained more about what she was using, since I was interested in a couple of the products. My extractions were practically painless, more so than any other facial I’ve had at much more upscale spa’s, but I left feeling like she did a really great job. The massage was nothing to write home about, but I’m generally happy with anyone rubbing my back so I can’t complain too much.
I doubt I will go back since it’s a little out of the way for me, and I didn’t leave feeling like I just had a visit to the spa like I was hoping. Atmosphere is a key part of the experience for me, and honestly nothing here did it for me. The music wasn’t the typical relaxation music, the décor was kind of awful, the bedding used on the massage table was floral which really bothered me for some reason. Also, I feel like a facial and massage should be a sensory experience, but they don’t even use scented massage oil. Well it is almond scented, but I don’t mean that as a good thing.
I think for the price you can’t beat it, and if I lived in the area I could see going back for a facial on occasion. I’m happy I bought the Groupon, but I won’t be returning.

Had a WONDERFUL Swedish massage from Gina Bowman. Particularly liked how she massaged my back, going back and forth from side to side, not just up and down the back. She also uses hot stones some in the Swedish massage while doing your back. Highly recommend her.

My wife purchased for me gift of a massage «60 minute trigger point massage» by Emilie and Jenna. I called them several times at 513−332−3512 and always got their voicemail. After leaving several messages, I received a text back from either Emilie or Jenna. Apparently they work for a chiropractor and do the massage on the side are only in the Milford office one or two days per week.
After several texts back and forth (no phone calls, oddly enough), I was able to make an appointment at their Milford office (as described in the Groupon coupon) several WEEKS out on Friday. I had a work meeting that day but I rescheduled it to keep the massage appointment. I showed up fifteen minutes early for my appointment as these planes typically have paperwork to be filled out. After fifteen minutes of being ignored, someone finally told me that my massage therapist wasn’t coming in and was cancelling my appointment. They claimed that they did not have my phone number, even though we texted back and forth several times. I called to reschedule the massage but none of my phone calls were returned.
What a big waste of time and a rip off!

They still have not called me to reschedule, to apologize or to refund the money.

I purchased a Groupon for a massage and facial combo. It was a good price and Groupon suggested leaving a generous tip afterward. I did this, actually left a $ 20 tip for the hour and a half service. So why two stars you ask? Well, I was escorted into the treatment room and shown where I should change. The treatment table had sheets on it that looked questionable at best. Wrinkled as though they were dragged out of the bottom of a closet, yuck. I proceeded to change and climb onto the table all ready for my relaxation to begin… WRONG! The owner came in to begin the facial and literally did not stop talking for the entire hour and a half. I had tensed up a bit during this process and she commented on the tension in my shoulders. Ummm, please just stop yammering away and maybe I could relax, I thought! And she talked about HERSELF the entire time. I may have nodded off during the massage, not sure but Ii was ready to bolt out of there. I’m not a therapist but she seemed to think I was one and perhaps she should see one. She had a lot to unburden and needless to say, I won’t be returning.
