Only thing going for this place is the location and deck seating. The chef should be fired. I can make a better hamburger at home; no flavor.

I love the upstairs bar at the tom quick. its great to know that there is a quiet respectable place to just sit down and have a drink. Linda is my favorite bartender in the world forever.

Great burger! Good meat, properly cooked(medium rare, of course), and properly rested. Fries were good too. Since I’ve never been here before, I didn’t want to try they variations, and went with their Classic, simple burger with lettuce, tomato, cheddar and fresh onion. The bread was good too. Soaked up all the juice from the meat. Next time, I would try their Big Chief. Huge Burger with Ham according to their menu. Can’t go wrong with starting with more beef, then adding a thick slab of ham. I would add bacon to it and then it would be complete. Waitress was friendly. I suppose I got more attention since it was their off-season. I heard this town is a summer resort. I have no idea about the hotel but the burger and fries were good. The other guys who gave bad reviews should have tried their burgers. They told me there is a club in the same building. Too bad I wasn’t staying there long enough to try them out. It would have been fun to be clubbing in this sleepy town. But I had no time. Had lunch and left. Interior was gorgeous and the decorations were very tasteful and subdued. It also showcased a gorgeous bar. Too bad it was only lunch time. I was surprised at a low price of food. The place looked like a $ 50 a person kind of place, not $ 15 with a tip I paid. If you happen to drive through this town and in the mood for a good burger, give this place a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Judging from other review, I suppose you should stay away from their clam chowder and wine. Stick with burger and beer. LOL. I wish they also served hot dogs, a proper Jersey rippers, heh, I am from NJ.

The service is good. Too bad the food isn’t that good. I ordered a clam chowder. It sounds interesting because it’s a combination of new England and manhattan clam chowder. It tastes like chili. My calm sauce pasta is too peppery. Both soup and pasta are a little too salty for me. I had a lot of water after the meal.

I don’t know what the hotel is like. This is a review of the restaurant. I kinda knew when the Pinot Noir that was too sweet was the driest wine that they had, the meal would be shit. Before I tear this place new asshole let me say that both the barmaid and the server were both awesome. But dinner, sucked. My wife started with a combo Manhattan/New England clam chowder. That in itself makes no sense. When we got it it was obviously from the can. At least I hope no one actually made that. Awful. For entrees my wife had linguini with clam sauce and I had some sort of grilled chicken breast with two types of melted cheese and honey mustard shit on it. How could that be good right? Well it was shit. What was I thinking. My wife’s clam sauce had chunks of raw garlic and way too much pepper and salt. It also was so wet it was almost a soup. The dinner was totally garbage. If the owner reads this I suggest that you call Robert Irvine and get on Restaurant Impossible because your restaurant is terrible. In closing I really wanted to like this place, being that no one ever reviewed it on Unilocal before, but it was one of the worst restaurants that I’ve ever been to. ______
