Wendy’s

Veggie Burger ripoff. I went to this Wendy’s Sept 2 for a veggie burger. I had been there before and thought the veggie burger was great. A nice thick patty, a fresh slice of onion, pickles, tomatoes and lettuce. What I received shocked me. When I took the wrapper off, I discovered a bun with some sauce and a pickle and a tomato and lettuce. No patty. When I went to complain to the server, Jennifer, who was the shift supervisor, she told me that a veggie burger is a hamburger minus the meat. That’s exactly what I got for $ 3.95. I explained to her that I had had the veggie burger several times before there, and it always had a veggie patty. She gave me a replacement veggie burger which was identical to the first one. A hamburger minus the meat patty. I really got ripped off for a bun and lettuce and tomato.

Well, we always believe in giving places a second chance. There were already two customers in front of us with complaints so we weren’t taking any chances and got while the gettin was good! Went to Mickey dees

The manager guy or whatever he is at the fucking window was rude AS FUCK! He’s rushing us and using an impolite tone that was not appealing. I was about to fight him. He was getting in my last nerve when we orders our food. He made us pull forward because the food wasn’t ready and then made the intelligent decision to throw the bag at us in hopes we’d catch it. This bitchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! He needs to pipe the fuck down and stop being a punk ass bitch. It’s ridiculous that we can’t get a decently cheap meal without a fucking problem. I hate it. Fuck him. Food sucked anyway. Just like his attitude.

Drive up is horrible they always get my orders wrong then I have to go inside. Fries are always soggy and the chili has more water in it then chili.

While the food is fine at this restaurant, the service is often atrocious. If you order anything «special» (like no tomato) at the drive thru, you are guaranteed to get it wrong. If you have an issue, it is likely the manager is busy. And several times I have stood in line at this restaurant for 20 minutes and not seen the line move at all, because they are unwilling to either open a second register or deal with a problematic customer.
If you want drive-​thru and order straight off the menu, it is an adequate place to pick up food. Otherwise, choose one of the other restaurants deeper into Shelton or up in Derby/​Ansonia.

I have been to this Wendy’s several times and even if the burger or chicken sandwich is not bad that’s why I gave at least 2 stars the french fries are absolutely horrible. They are limp and soggy. I don’t know what is up with this specific location and why they can’t make them crisp like McDonald’s or Burger King. Yeah I know fast food is not good for me but to get a quick bite fast not much else I can do.

So Today I had the new fishthing. Great ! really hit the spot. Some people might cringe but I am a Wendys Loyalist., plus I like most things from the Ocean so it’s a good combo for me. Now my brother
