Akamai Raingutters

We just had our roof re-​done by David’s Roofing, and since we obviously needed gutter replacement as well, we asked David’s to take the point and luckily they didn’t disappoint — as they subcontracted the gutter replacement with Akamai Raingutters.
Once we signed the contract, the gutters were up in a matter of a couple of days.
The folks at Akamai were extremely efficient and pleasant to deal with. And the quality of work was fantastic.
Price? To be honest, we believe that we might have been able to get it cheaper, but we like to keep things simple, so going with the recommendation was by far the easiest route.
Hopefully, we won’t need gutters again in the near future, but if a friend asks, my suggestion would be Akamai.

These guys are awesome! Sean (owner) came to do our estimate and was very thorough. He even pointed out a few areas of our roof that needed some TLC. Sheri (co-​owner) was efficent and super friendly (just like Sean was). The crew came out at 11am and it was all done by 12:45pm. The gutters look awesome! I referred my brother to them and when Sean came out for his estimate, I happened to be there and Sean remembered me. Almost like family already! I highly recommend Akamai!

We just finished remodeling our home and we needed new gutters. I called and got a quote in the mail. Sean came last week to do a walk through as i requested after Sheri sent me an estimate. Customer service is excellent! They have been busy, but Sheri called me to let me know they had a cancelation so they came first thing this morning. Three installers came, were very friendly,
professional, and super efficient. I did shop around and their price was significantly lower than the others for the same materials. Mahalo piha to Akamai Raingutters… we are really happy with their work!

I contacted Akamai Raingutters about a year before the installation date. Sheri and Sean always returned my emails and phone calls, and stuck to their initial estimate from looking at my house plans (actual dimensions were a little more than what was planned).
I am glad that Sheri recommended using a rain chain rather than the traditional downspout. The rain chain is much more pleasant to look at and not a lot of homes in my area have this. I originally purchased the wrong rain chain adapter, but Akamai Raingutters came back a second time at no additional charge to install the adapter.

The men who came to remove the gutters from the house I was renting arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday to start their work, my landlord/​owner didn’t even know they were coming. We arrived to our house in the pitch black to find them climbing over our roof and looking into our windows. When I told them they needed to leave because I have small children who needed to sleep and was never informed they were coming, the workers ignored me and kept working. My wife is actively nursing our newborn, AND THE WORKERS SAT ON OUR BALCONY IN THE DARK WATCHING MY WIFE NURSE OUR BABY IN MY BED!!! This is completely unprofessional and personally violating in so many levels! To make matters worse, because they couldn’t see anything (besides my wife’s breasts of course) they left debris and shards of metal all over my car, the balcony, and the ground around my house. I have small children and this is a DANGER to them too! Completely unprofessional.

Akamai removed, fabricated and re-​installed rain gutters on our home. The crew
did an excellent job and we could not be happier with the finished look. We highly recommend Akamai Rain Gutters for their timely estimates, returning phone calls and expert workmanship.
