Had the worst experience with radio shack mililani today. Bought a wireless router, and I honestly think the guy knew it was broken. But all he tells us, if it’s broken you have 30 days to return it. We came home having problems hooking up the router, so my husband decoded he should call cisco for help. After almost one hour, the Cisco person said I’m sorry I think you got a broken router. We paid 150, open box off the shelf. No doscount… cisco tells us do you know we can sell you the same one for 120. Radio shack major rip off!!! So my husband calls the mililani store, and the dude hangs up on him. He calls back again asking him did you just hang up on me? He goes I will be right at your store. He got a ear full from my husband, and no sorry as well. The dude must have been piss off. Good! Treat your customers with respect!!!

Went to Mililani Radio Shack and the person helping me was Elisha. Hats off to him for helping me get with the problem I was having trying to connect my IPad to the television and also to my computer. He was very patient as I am an elderly person who knows nothing about how to connect what to what. It worked and I didn’t need to spend extra money that I didn’t have. His customer service was outstanding!!! Very hard to get this kind of help these days, especially with him being young but very knowledgeable! Very satisfied customer.

The staff at Radio Shack Mililani have helped me several times with obtaining the right connectors for various audio visual tasks. I always bring pics on my phone to show them the input and output connectors I wish to use. They are so helpful!

This Mililani location has really stepped up it’s customer service. Before when I used to think Radio Shack customer service was not something I would use in the same sentence. But, daughter #2 was having her birthday coming up and at that age what does a teenager want besides $$$? So, I dragged her along on my errands and she mentioned how she was tired of having to burn CD’s to play in our cars and the adapter thing for the iPod would be a perfect present for her. Bingo! My mission was accomplished. We did my errands and when I was done I told her let’s go to Radio Shack and see if they have something like that. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked if we needed help. B-day girl explained what she wanted and clerk found it immediately so we browsed the store a bit. We were both surprised to find that they had a large assortment of cases for Androids, iPhones, Kindles, iPads, etc. This will be our go to store for accessories from now on.

My biggest issue with this place is their inventory. Granted, that seems to be a problem with all Radio Shack stores nowadays. Too much shelf space is dedicated to items that are carried by other stores. The employees have always been helpful, knowledgeable, and polite. The Radio Shack website is everything that I would expect a top tier company to have, but the lack of material at local stores simply turns it into a bad version of Amazon. However! I must say that the most overlooked gift items for this coming holiday season is the small do-it-yourself kits of electronic projects. These things make good stocking stuffers for people who are not afraid of their child growing up to be a nerd.
