We have been coming here since the 2007 when we moved to the Lock Haven area. Joe(the owner) is always friendly and helpful with the Mongolian bar. Mongolian bar food looked fresh and tasted great. Everything was spot on tonight as it usually is. This place is clean and décor is nice. We had no bad experiences with the food like another reviewer mentioned. On a side note, you couldn’t pay me to eat the other buffet across the street(variety buffet) they clearly don’t care about the appearance of the outside of the building which leads me to believe they don’t care about what’s being served inside.

Let me preface this by saying that the décor is great, very modern and clean, and that the owners are nice… and that’s the positive. This is a Mongolian Bar-B-Que — Chinese fusion reastaurant /bar. There is one buffet line of premade Americanized Chinese favorites such as egg rolls, General Tso’s Chicken, Broccoli Chicken, and soups. There’s a buffet line dedicated to salads and fruits, one dedicated to desserts, and one dedicated to sushi and cold pasta salads. Then there’s the Mongolian bar-b-que. There’s a middle buffet with raw veggies, another line with premade sauce options, and a covered chest with the meats, including squid, krab, beef, chicken, fish, pork, and bacon. As with any Mongolian bar-b-que, you can choose your veggies, meat, and sauce mixture, then have them cook it for you. If bar-b-que isn’t in the cards, you can eat the premade Chinese food, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Everything looked as though it’d been there a while. The sauces were even starting to congeal, and nothing was changed out or restocked, either time we’ve been there. Then there’s the soup. The soup was ice cold! My dad asked why it was cold, the owner pointed to the microwave they have on the counter and said«use that». Craziness! The bar-b-que was ok, the service was good, but the premade Chinese food was cold, greasy, and gross! I wouldn’t recommend this place, maybe we’d’ve have better luck at the Chinese buffet across the street.

I used to go to this place all the time when I lived in Pa. The guy who owns it is cool as shit and always remembered me and my friends. Every few years when I go back home to visit I stop in and the guy always remembers who I am. Awesome!

We visited this restaurant a few months ago, its right on route 120 in lock haven. It has a parking lot to park your car, so its not too bad. the intiroir looked pretty nice. This doesnt have a buffet, but they do have some pretty delicious food there. I really liked their rice, they didnt let it sit around for a long time. the emporers chicken is pretty decent too.
