All Wrapped Up

I’ve rented a mailbox here for the past nine years and have been very happy – it’s completely safe and secure (plus you are able to check your mail in the off-​hours — she will let you have a key to access the hallway where the mailboxes are, so you can even check your mail if her shop is closed). Lisa takes great care of her customers. Her shop is also fantastic — it’s my local go-​to for cards and unique gifts — she carries beautiful cards, items for the home, locally-​made jewelry, books, and stuff for kids, too. She also offers notary and mailing services. All Wrapped Up is a local gem.

I have been a customer/​friend of All Wrapped Up for many years. They are my mail drop and my sons mail drop. I never have to chase down to the post office or UPS to get a package that needed a signature. Lisa and her staff are great and go out of their way to help.

If being a small business means that you have to outsource some of your needs, then it sure is nice to find those who make you feel good when you walk in the door. Those who know you by name. Those who work with you and are part of your team, even if it’s as small as taking in your mail. When I needed a PO Box for my publishing company when I wrote Nowhere Hair, a children’s book about explaining hairloss from chemo to kids, I turned to Lisa at All Wrapped Up in downtown. I’d been using her store as my local mailbox for years, as she was an outlet for the US Post office WITHOUT THE LINES! And WITH A SMILE. I recommend her completely for a PO Box, birthday cards, a copy of my book, lovely home gifts, or just a twirl around a nicely appointed local business stuffed with interesting items. Buy local!

All Wrapped Up is my go-​to place. Not only do they provide superb mail service, but their gift selection is simply gorgeous. As far as mail, Lisa and her staff are the best! Not only will they advise as to the best shipping option, but for those of us lucky enough to have a box, we know that Lisa will hold our mail safe and secure… so important with the mail thefts that we hear about from time to time. All Wrapped Up is truly a Mill Valley gem… superb service, great gifts, and super convenient.

Gosh, what we do with out All Wrapped Up! As long as I can remember that was an outlet for the US Post office-​Then a new bigger one was built on the outskirts of MV and we were going to lose the ability to buy stamps or maintain our PO Boxes in the actual town of Mill Valley!
All Wrapped Up changed and grew and kept our boxes! This is a very vital part of the fabric and service of Mill Valley! In addition it is a wonderful gift and card store and actually has parking!!! Lots of warm personal service!

I have a business mail box here and do all of my shipping from here as well. Great service, always helpful and responsive!!! They are great at holding/​collecting mail when we go on vacation and you know your mail is secure (unlike a lot of private home mailboxes — there is so much mail theft reported in Mill Valley lately!

I come here mainly for two reasons: 1) if I need something notarized and 2) if I need to ship out a parcel. Especially the latter is super convenient here, as the folks here are friendly and help you with any shipping-​related questions you may have.
They also offer a bunch of other stuff here from stationary, to gifts, local maps and books.
Definitely good to have this place here!

What a nasty, horrible, rude owner. What a beeeeooootch. How on earth did this place get «Business of the Year» 2014 and associated with the Chamber of Commerce?! Please, please go right across the street to the Postal Annex. Half the price and very helpful at the Postal Annex.

A Gold Mine in downtown Mill Valley– who knew? I have two clients who have a list of friends/​family –and ideas for gifts, specific wrapping paper required and a preference for caliber of greeting cards. My job is to finds, gifts, cards, get all wrapped and mailed. All Wrapped Up scores a Perfect 10 — Bonus — they ship (UPS, FEDEx, USPS)
Lisa, the owner for 26 yrs (which speaks volumes) is a delight and my new best supplier.
She has the best «gift, book, soaps and bubbles, and Misc «store in Marin County.

Born and raised here, my father went to TAM as did both of my girls (I went to Drake…) Anyway, there is one employee at All Wrapped Up who is by far the most rude and aggressive retail store clerk that I have ever meet. If she pulls attitude, walk out. There is a postal annex across the street over where 31 flavors used to be. .First time Unilocaler… I just had to say something because this person was an outstanding example of how NOT to treat their customers. I will never shop at All Wrapped Up again, which is a shame because they are open on Sunday.

«Cheers» was never really canceled, as it is truly my life as I know it in Mill Valley where everyone knows my name. There are certain circumstances that are detrimental to me while living in my sitcom day life, such as not being able to flick people off when they really deserve it, watching my language in many locations even when I’m not at work, and not being able to talk about real things in life while in close proximity to others in fear of them knowing me. There are a few things that are really quite wonderful though about being a big fish in a small pond (obnoxious huh). One of those would be the fact that I have a wonderful little gift shop/​wrapping/​post office located just one block down the street that provides to me the ultimate level of service and yes, everyone there knows my name. They’re quick for me, efficient and usually I don’t even need to wait in line. They know what I’m shipping and usually what provider and where, so that I can just leave my packages on the side of the counter by Lisa and thank her profusely for the generous and kind smile she throws my way early in the morning. I’m always impressed as she is chipper and upbeat in the morning before I’ve even pried my eyelids open to meet the world. During the holidays, she knows her shit well, and makes the line go significantly quicker than the regular post office. Also while standing in the line, there are a plethora of things I find that I need to buy as All Wrapped Up has some really creative and wonderful gift ideas. Beautiful cards and children’s books. Coffee table books and little accoutrement that you just find the need to purchase (like a beautiful little key chain boasting a 1gb card attached to it). Her wrapping skills are on point, and she can fold those corners on the edge of that box like it’s hospital sheets that you can cliff hang off of. She cuts my time in half by going there, and whenever I need gifts, she saves my ass, so for that alone, I am thankful!
