Claudia has been doing my hair since I was 18 years old. I’m now almost 43! Ive tried other stylists a few times and am ultimately disappointed every time. Claudia is all about «healthy hair» and she has a magic touch with color. She is very respectful of my wishes and never «overdoes» it to play out her ego. I love this about her. I look forward to my hair appointments with Claudia. I always feel like a new woman when I walk out. Claudia and her sister Cathy work together at Cambiar and are so down to earth and real. I adore them both and absolutely love this place. It has become an important part of why I call Marin home. Btw– today Claudia did a new treatment on me called «Brazilian Blowout». A stylist in Walnut Creek — while I was living there last year — wrecked my hair. After the treatment my hair feels incredibly soft and bouncy. I highly recommend Cambiar and the Brazilian Blowout treatment!

The Groupon deal introduced me to darling Dorothy. She is great at brows (be sure to tell her exactly what you want, Be specific.) and massage… and, evidently, hair. The salon is small and efficient. They do Hair care and Tinting — Waxing — Nails and fabulous massage. I will return!

I got a great service today. I bought eyebrows wax from Groupon and use it today. Dorothy was great. I got my new eyebrows shape. I love it. I also done my nail with them. They are super nice and provided great hospitality. I definitely come back again. I already bought 2 more eyebrows wax in advance.

Bought groupon, got in next day, very nice. Dorothy definitely knows what she’s doing. My eye brow wax/​tint and lash tinting were smooth and I was able to lean back while the tinting took effect. Love the shaping she did with my brows. It was only my second time to have this done and I signed up for 2 more.

I have been getting my haircut at Cambiar for 30 years. Cathy and Claudia are two sisters who have been cutting Marin resident’s hair all of their lives. I can’t imagine trusting my look to anyone else. Casual, fun atmosphere. The secret’s these two could tell! Cathy’s son Paul makes this truly a family affair and he gives the salon a professional edge. All else are pretenders. In Mill Valley it’s Cambiar.

They are terrific. Great cuts, great color – Cathy fixed a color disaster for me and gave me the haircut I’ve wanted for years. She knows how to listen and implement what you want. I have friends who get awesome haircuts form Claudia and Paul too. This is a talented, unpretentious, experienced family of stylists. So glad I found Cambiar – it’s a jewel of a salon in Mill Valley.

I have been coming to Cambiar for over 20 years, and had my hair done by both Cathy, the owner, who is fantastic, and mostly her son, Paul. I am a performer and have gone through every stage of hair colors cuts and styles you can imagine. I have NEVER walked out of there not looking fantastic;-) The vibe there is great, simple décor with an island style theme, good music, fun conversations. It is truly a family style vibe. I have had to do color corrections due to experiments gone wrong, and Paul has always been great. He also consults very well when I came in just wanting a change but not being quite sure what next. I highly suggest the warmth and professionalism balanced by a cool relaxed atmosphere of Cambiar!!!

Thisis one of the best hair salons every. Mostly because of Paul, who does a fantastic job with my hair, coloring and cuting. I went in before Christmas in a horrible mood. He certainly cheered me up by the time he was finished. I looked terrific. I always feel about ten years younger when I come out of there. I really believe it is the only place to go to have your hair done.
