I live in Sausalito and require a rental car relatively often for work. The team at Mill Valley Enterprise Rent A Car always come through for me. I call and get picked up within the hour, the price is right, and the team are all friendly and courteous. I highly recommend renting cars from the Enterprise team in Mill Valley!

I moved form Mill Vally area ro the East Coast over ten years ago but own a rental property there and come out to check on things as well as visit friends and enjoy the beautiful Bay Area. Nine times out of ten, I pick up my rental car from the Mill Vaaley Enterprise and am never disappointed. The team changes over the year generally but they all exhibit professionalism even when dealing with several waiting customers. They have been courteous and on top of pick up and drop off times and have switched out cars for me if I was. not happy after a day or two of driving. The other 10% of the time I have rented at SFO. Much more of a hassle and more expensive as well. I am grateful for the presesnce of Enterprise in Mill Valley despite its squeezed in location.

Best rental car service provider site ever! This statement is based on 45+ years of dealing with rental car locations for business and pleasure use. The team at this site know their job, perform it professionally, and seem ready to go the extra mile. They are simply a pleasure to do business with.

Incredibly lame. Matt the manager gleefully told me that my legally issued temporary license could not be excepted. He recommended I go to another rental car company. I did.

I’ve been to several Enterprise locations all over the country is this one is by far my favorite. Eric, the manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to make my experience a good one! Going through a car rental process can be such a pain, but not here — they have totally set a new standard!

The team here are awesome! Given this is was my first time renting a car I had a fabulous experience! When reserving the car online I thought I would get a midsize Toyota, but when showing up to pick up the car I guess I got there at the right time because they gave me a brand-​new BMW SUV! That made my thanksgiving road trip much more smooth & stylish! Thank you Eric and your team!

The team at the Strawberry/​Mill Valley Enterprise office are the best in car rental I’ve ever experienced. Rent from them. You’ll be glad you did.
I’ve spent two decades travelling internationally and extensively within the U.S. I’ve rented from every major rental firm in the western world (as well as a few elsewhere). From high end hotels, airports, local offices and a few limo car companies. This whole team (and Brian in particular) were genuine, responsive, flexible, respectful and could not do enough to accommodate me (I changed the car twice during the booking because my needs changed and they didn’t bat an eyelid, had it sorted in 15 mins.) All this with a relaxed smile that wasn’t artificial (as a lot of ‘service smiles’ in the U.S. can be) that made it a pleasure to work with them. A great team. A great experience. And very competitive prices. The full package.

Whoever thought I could or would give 5 stars to a rental car location. These people are fast, easy to deal with, and just know what they’re doing. I’ve rented from Hertz in the same county… and they sucked. I don’t go anywhere else now.
I’ve been there 3 times do to my own car issues, and I would recommend them to anyone.

These guys have it down. They make it incredibly easy to get a car. Brian has helped me a few times and each time is seamless. They pick you up, the car is ready and they will drop you off. This last time was no exception. A huge thank you to Brian, Amanda and Paul. Great service! If Brian is not a manager, he should be!

HUGE WARNING:
These guys will out right lie to you (presumably to get you to rent from them rather than other Enterprise companies). We had a reservation for quite a bit less with another Enterprise location and the fellow at the desk lied to us about what our reservation was going to cost at the other location. «We can give you the same rate» But it was about 25% higher! We didn’t fall for it and sure enough, the other location came through with their much lesser cost.

This place is a nightmare. The manager Jared is unreliable and unprofessional. They ran my card for $ 1,000 accidentally and he will not refund it, he wont call back, etc. When I call him he says they are looking into it. It’s been 2 months and now I have 2 months of an unpaid card on my credit report, which was near perfect until this.
The details: My car went to Jeep on warranty and Jeep got me an Enterprise car. It took nearly 2 months for my car to get fixed. Jeep made it very clear to Enterprise that they were covering the rental costs (I have copies of emails, etc). Shortly after I returned the car to Enterprise, there was a charge on my card for a few bucks short of 1k. I have called Enterprise numerous times and they are not helping me. 9 times out of 10 they don’t answer the phone at all (go ahead and give that number above a try– it’s impossible to call the local office– yes I pressed ext 4). When I do finally reach them, they tell me every time that they will work on it and call me back. They have only called me back one time and said «call us» instead of telling me it was fixed on my voice mail which they promised to do in advance, because they know they cant be reached. I have not been able to reach the manager at all since then. The # rings for hours. When a receptionist occasionally answers, they dont know a thing about the situation and say Jared will call back. But he doesnt. The people that have not helped me:
1. Manager Jared. He knows I cant reach him and promised to handle it & call me asap and has not. This has gone on for months. So I asked the receptionist for HIS manager…
2. Jared’s regional manager:
— I have emailed him numerous times and haven’t gotten a single reply.
I have done everything in my power to get help, short of driving down there and creating a public ruckus, which is my next step if this Unilocal doesn’t yield any results.

The goto car rental spot in Marin! They rent pickup trucks too and take great care of their cars. The service is quick and the employees smart and seem to enjoy their jobs. I’ve rented there every few months and have yet to be disappointed with the service.

Decided to rent a SUV for the weekend last weekend. Found this place which was convenient to where I lived. Got a good rate and booked online.
Got a call the day before to confirm my reservation and to let me know I could pick up the car early at no charge which made it really easy for me. They also gave me the best car they had in that class.
Pick up was easy and staff was friendly and professional. Seamless.
I dropped it off while they were closed. They conveniently had a drop box which allowed me to park the car and drop the keys in the box.
Overall this was an excellent car rental experience. This will now be my go to place when I need a rental!

The staff at Enterprise was great and they provided a fun car for me; however, BEWARE!!! Enterprise tells you that you can avoid paying the $ 3.95 «convenience fee» (in addition to the toll charge) every time you cross a bridge, but NOT SO! I spent a good 45 minutes on the phone with their «third party administrator» and was told ultimately that I could add the rental car to my Fastrak account, but it would have to stay on the account for 48 hours after i returned the car — hence I would be paying the next renter’s tolls. So, I offered to pay for my tolls when I returned the car, but Enterprise wouldn’t accept payment. My credit card bill came with $ 15.80 in «convenience fees» for crossing 4 toll gates.

I needed a small (actually an inexpensive) car for three days and thought I had called Enterprise Mill Valley to make that reservation. When I showed up to pick-​up the car I had to learn that I must have called their Belmont offices instead. No problem, said the newly appointed upbeat Mill Valley Branch Manager, we will get you a car. And so he did. I left this place in a Dodge Grand Caravan for the price of an economy car. Thank you for that great customer service and your flexibility.
I would only wish you would pay more attention to cleaning the car, especially the windows; otherwise this would have been a five star experience.

I was in dire need of a rental car at the very last minute and booked a reservation online and 30 minutes later, Jared was able to offer me either a convertible Ford Mustang or a Prius. I decided to get the convertible which was great and at no up charge. He was also able to give me great recommendations on things in the area and was very friendly as was the rest of the staff.
Returning the car was also very easy as they have a drop off box available ²⁴⁄₇ for anyone to return their vehicles. Overall my experience with them was pretty exceptional despite me making it very inconvenient for them with such short notice. I would definitely rent from there again.
