Golden Gate Academy

My son graduated from GGA in 2012 and my daughter has been enrolled there for 2 years. What sets GGA apart from other preschools is the incredible job the teachers do. They truly love their work, and it shows in the way the children react to them and bond with them. Somehow they are able to maintain their authority as teachers while at the same time engaging the children in play at their level. Of all the events GGA puts on my favorites are the Christmas and Spring programs. It’s amazing (and cute!) to see the little kids get up on stage and perform to an audience, and is a reminder of how hard the teachers work and how much of a loving and supporting environment they provide for the children. We love GGA and are so thankful for everything they have taught our children.

My 2 year old daughter started as GGA in 2014 and it’s been an absolutely wonderful experience! The curriculum is great and really does a nice job of blending in learning with fun play time. My daughter has really learned a lot in such a short time! I was a little concerned with sending her to school so early, but the teachers and administrators are very loving and supportive! My daughter had a hard time transitioning from home to school, but the teachers have been so patient and creative in how to deal with her transition. They have provided such personal attention and care! They have LOTS of art projects, which definitely keep my daughter engaged and excited! They are really teaching our kids to be a good person (kind hearted, thoughtful, patient, and loving)! All around, it’s been a really great experience!
GGA also offers great hours for working parents. Full day goes from 8:30 — 4:30 and extended care can start as early as 7:30 and late as 6:30.

GGA is an great place. The staff are caring and gracious. They are a licensed facility and offer a well rounded curriculum for the little ones. My daughter was very shy as a 2 year old, but quickly came out of her shell as she spent time there. We are in our 3^rd year there and would highly recommend GGA for your tot!

The school and teachers are very professionals, we like the place and our daughter (3 years) enjoys going there. I took a long time to find the good place for her and we are very satisfied. Each morning, the view when we arrive at school is AMAZING!

GGA is an incredible school. We are so lucky to have found it. My daughter has been enrolled there for three years and my son now for one year and they are both thriving. The teachers are all very passionate about what they do and it is such a warm and loving environment. It is an incredibly supportive community at GGA.
Also it’s the best bang for your buck as far as preschools in Southern Marin go. It also is very flexible with days/​hours and has extended care options. Great for working parents!
I can’t say enough good things about GGA! Highly recommend.
