Peggy and Rick are a great husband and wife team. Their products are not cheap but you are getting higher quality products. Their level of service when things were not installed correctly was excellent, which is refreshing. I had motorized blinds and phantom screens installed — very happy with them!

This company is very honest, courteous, and did a perfect job of replacing the screen in our Phantom door, and without even being asked, they adjusted the mechanism, including the magnets, leaving the door working perfectly.
They answer calls promptly and are reliable. People with this kind of old-​fashioned integrity stand out and we are happy to know they are there for us to rely on in the future.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while.
The sign of a true professional is how he/​she handles problems. By that measure, Rick and Co. at High Tech Screens and Shades set the bar for professionalism very high.
Rick’s crew installed a screen door for us, and there was an issue that no one anticipated. Rick was at all times professional, nondefensive, and went out of his way to make sure the issue was addressed.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hi Tech. If we have an opportunity to work with them again in the future I know we’ll do so.

Rich Hutton, of High tech screens and shades, consulted on shades for our kitchen. He spent an enormous amount of time going over the architecture, colors and lighting in our kitchen. He was thoughtful and thorough in presenting the various options. We had several other estimators but none with the expertise of Mr Hutton.
We have no hesitation in recommending Rich and his company .

After a ton of research on what type of product to go with I finally settled on the new Phantom system. I searched around for a reputable company to install, and then came across High-​Tech. Josh came out and gave me a quote, walked me through my million questions and explained the whole process. I felt I was heard and given a very fair price.
When it came time for installation the gentleman was courteous, clean and fast. They even came back after to fix a door when we couldn’t figure out how to use it correctly. Highly recommend this team!

Rick, Peggy and Justin — Absolute Fantastic!
We’ve had an usually warm summer in San Francisco this year. I absolutely needed to have my patio door open (sans bugs) for a prologed period of time. I called Rick who provided me some great advice on options. In addition, he sent Justin over to work on my retractable screen within just 5 days. Justin did an incredible job — he was fast, professional, and installed the screen beautifully. Finally, Peggy who handles their logistics has been a pleasure to work with as well.

Wonderful product — Wonderful service.
Rick Hutton (owner) was on time for his appointment and helped guide us through the process. Suggested some options for our South facing windows and sliders that we hadn’t thought about. Did the measurements; ten days later the shades were in and ready for installation. Installer was on time and did a great job; the retractable sun screens fit perfectly and look perfect.
