Agree with the last review. I’ve called a couple times, no one ever answers. I’ve gone down there twice, the first time it was closed. And I went again today and again it was closed with a hand written note closed 2 – 5. The shop is worthless it’s never opened. I ended up going to once around and it is an amazing store — highly recommended

Great shop! Mellissa, the owner, is so patient with her students. There is a great fabric selection and dozens of items you can have embroidered. Lots of after school classes as well and Mellissa teaches adults too.

Not good… I call and there’s never anyone answering the phone, left a voicemail and no callback, sent email enquiry and no response. So I finally head over to the shop and it is closed(thurs 1:30pm), even though the store hours indicate that it is open. Who runs a business this way? If you’re on vacation or have some reason why you’re not responding back to customers, or out to lunch, then say so on the voicemail or write a note on the door!

If you ever wanted to learn to Sew and were afraid, rest assured this is the place you can leave all your fears behind. A beautiful shop with the most wonderful fabrics, sewing machines and everything you need to start you project. The lovely Lady Michelle who owns the shop runs classes for all ages. I just finished a 3 hour class on make your own tote. Wonderful instruction and Michelle is a fantastic teacher. You can bring your own fabric but why would when there is a fabulous selection at a very reasonable price. The shop itself is lovely just to browse, lots of gift ideas. She also offers a monogram service which is a fantastic idea. I would recommend this to beginners and experienced alike. Denise

I saw the«Sewn» sign & was drawn into this fabulous shop. I do sew & appreciate attention to details and quality. This shop has a lot to offer in ready made items, custom monograms and sewing classes. A small selection of charming fabrics are available too! After talking with Melissa and Lollie, this shop got more special to me with their quality customer service.

Dropped by a new spot in Mill Valley yesterday– SEWN!!! Shop owner, Lollie, was a total pleasure to work with! This little gem is tucked away off the main drag in downtown MV, but totally worth stopping into(it’s right near Toast Café)! The shop is decorated in beautiful Amy Butler fabric and offers a selection of gifts for babies, kids and adults– most of which Lollie will custom monogram for you!!! The other part of the store is set up for sewing classes(complete with sewing machine cozies) and a large work table– what a great place to come and take a class :) I ended up finding several gifts for upcoming baby showers, birthdays and a few Christmas presents– will definitely be back for the Mud Pie trunk show that she is having in November. I just love the atmosphere and local charm– this is totally a perfect fit for Mill Valley– now if only I lived closer…
