Bombshell

I’ve honestly never been so completely satisfied with my experience at any nail salon. Not only did Lindsey go out of her way to accommodate me (I had asked for a pedicure only and then wanted my nails done too) but she did an amazing job.
I’m a diabetic so I need to be careful with my feet. I hadn’t gone to get a pedicure in nearly a year. This is the first pedicure and manicure that hasn’t been uncomfortable or painful. I’m super sensitive and Lindsey was awesome. So gentle and really took her time.
My nails are original and fun and I feel super cute. She made awesome suggestions and seems to love her work. It was honestly like sitting with a friend and getting my nails done. I usually hate going by myself but this was such a comfortable experience that I wasn’t lonely or bored at all.
My nails are beautiful and my toes are so cute I had to buy new shoes to show them off.
A gel manicure with designs on all ten fingers was $ 42, about average for the area and so worth it. The pedicure cost me $ 40 and I would have happily paid more.
I’ve already had people tell me my nails are cute. I’ll send everyone I know here.

Christina is amazing at brows. I’ve never had my eyebrows look so good. She listened to my needs and delivered 100%. Even my boyfriend commented on how good and full they looked. Christina is such a sweetheart and easy to talk to as well.

Awesome is all I need to say! They’ve kept my eyebrows looking fabulous for almost 9 years. :)

This place is what my dreams are made of. Christina made my brows look absolutely incredible. Every other wax place I have gone to has made my skin red, bumpy, and occasional took a patch of skin off with them! Not this place. Post-​wax, my skin was happy and calm, and almost a week later I have suffered not a single irritation bump! Christina was an absolute doll and filled in my brows to get the dramatic shape I wanted. Plus, can we talk about how adorable this shop is?! I wanted to buy every dress in the shop, but I stopped myself and walked out with just gorgeous brows and a pink, silky kimono robe I simply couldn’t live without. Next time, i’m going to book nails as well so I can finally achieve the Dita half-​moon mani i’ve been hunting for!

I come here to do my nails and I am very impressed by the nail tech, Lindsay. She does a very good job. I am very particular when it comes to my nails and she gets it done. From plain to 3D art and glittery nails. She pretty much can do what you ask for. Very accommodating and always tries to set you up with the time you request. Shoot her a text if you don’t want to call and she will get back to you as soon as possible. So easy! Worth the 15 minute drive out of San Francisco.

Today I was finally able to make it into Bombshell to see what the hype was all about. Because of my busy schedule, I usually only go to places that offer same-​day appointments. However, Stephanie was so kind & accommodating throughout the scheduling email correspondence, that I decided to be patient and wait for an appointment.
Well worth the wait! Christina made my eyebrows look better than they ever had before! She was very nice as well. Process was quick: 20 minutes and reasonably priced at $ 25. I’m a happy customer aaaand (sorry) my eyebrows on fleek! haha! :-)

Often times in life, we cross paths with people that we really dig and then, days, weeks, months or even years pass before our paths cross again. That’s exactly how it went down with the lovely ladies at Bombshell.
I really like the new location, which can be tough to find if you didn’t grow up in Millbrae, cutting school at Capuchino and drinking beers in parking lots (this one ironically enough) before basketball games or dances.
The lives are a bit high and they know it. When I called for a reunion with Christina, Stephanie reminded me of the increase and was very gentle about it. She’s definitely a great gal and I miss them both oh so much.
Christina has a very good routine when she begins to wax the brows and for a creature of habit like myself, routines are welcomed.
As I sit here on the glorious Saturday morning, writing this review, I’m reminded that I need the brows did asap and will likely make an appointment soon. See, I write a review and follow my own suggestion.

Five stars for Bombshell! I went with Bombshell for bridal makeup this past September for my Sunday brunch wedding. Stephanie is sweet as pie and responded to all my messages promptly. I also appreciated the automated out of office email messages. Alyssa did my make up for the wedding and her calmness and professionalism made the stressful morning of routine more comfortable. Alyssa worked fast and the make up lasted all day. My bridesmaids were also very happy with their make up. Highly recommended!

All around AMAZING shop. The ladies at Bombshell are an absolute pleasure to be around! Not to mention they serve brow fierceness. I for sure will never let anyone else touch my brows, unless it’s Christina.
This place deserves 1000 stars in my book!

I love bombshell! All the girls are so nice and friendly and I’m in love with the shop! Lindsay is the best nail tech ever !! :) I’ve been seeing her for about a year now, and every time my nails come out perfectly. When I moved from SF to the peninsula I looked long and hard for the perfect nail spot. I have big city girl expectations.
I found it! Bombshell. Lindsay does a fabulous job on my nails. Not only do they look great but my nail beds are super healthy.

The staff is so kind and welcoming and the consultations before they do my brow work helps me feel comfortable. The salon smells wonderful and the décor is retro-​wonderful (pink flamingo wallpaper)! Schedule early because they are booked up often but that’s a good thing!

I’ve been going to Bombshell for over 5 years and let me say that from the first day I met Christina and Stephanie they have been amazing! Not only are they amazing at what they do– they’re just two of the most sweetest and genuine people ever. I don’t feel like their client, I feel like their friend. Christina’s work is flawless and always worth the wait. Stephanie is always so prompt about responding and getting appointments booked. I would never ever trust anyone else with my brows. I’d give them more stars if Unilocal allowed it! I love these girls!

All the reviews are true! They are the best! Sweetest girls and they did a great job keeping some thickness in my brows and still re-​shaping them. Booking was easy… you just need to plan a month or so out. They were so sweet, said no tip… tip would be just coming back. I found my new favorite brow place!

I’ve been getting waxed since I was 16 (23 now) and never had a decent brow waxing till I started coming here.
No nonsense from these girls. Cleanest, sharpest arches and you’ll get your brows filled with powder at the end!
Seriously, grow your eyebrows out and let Christina reinvent you.
Pick up a KBB brow highlighter pencil while you’re here. It’s a little pricey but a tiny little bit goes a long way and the product really cuts out the need for powder. The pencil really cut my makeup routine in half!

Christina puts the BOMB in BOMBSHELL!!! She has been doing my brows for years… taking them from a fuzzy caterpillar mess to marvelously arched brows (see my pic if you don’t believe me) !!! She always remembers exactly what you got before but if you want to change it up, she is always a good listener and will work with you ;) Steph is always great at responding to emails fast and working with you to get an appointment when your brows are really needing it! Overall, great customer service and extremely good looking brows!

I love love love when Christina cleans up my brows. They look great and I get complimented all the time.

I can’t believe it’s took me so long to write a review for Bombshell. I think I’ve been coming here almost 3 years?! In that time I have never let anyone else touch my eyebrows. Christina is thee BEST!!! I’ve never liked my eyebrows until I starting going here. Christina and Stephanie are also so fun to chat with. It’s easy making an appointment just make sure to plan in advance. Bombshell is soo worth the wait. Can’t imagine going anywhere else!

…another LONG overdue review…
up until I decided to have my eyebrows «tattooed» I would have given anything to have my bushy eyebrows from high school back! I went through a lot of phases with my eyebrows – from thick and full to extremely thin. About two years ago I decided to start going to bombshell to get my eyebrows waxed and began the process of growing them back in (at that time my eyebrows were painfully thin) and I wanted thick and full brows again. A year and a half later I had grown in as much of my eyebrows as possible and had the shape that I wanted however, my brows were sparse in a few areas and it was driving me crazy! I realized that I had taken my brows as far as they could go and I got them filled in in the areas that were over waxed and left permanently bald.
Christina is the reason that my eyebrows grew in as much as they did. We set my appointments 6 – 8 weeks apart to allow my brows time to grow in (something the previous person who waxed my brows never recommended). And she ONLY waxed and tweezed a little bit at a time so that I could achieve the brow shape and size that I wanted.
I can now say that I officially LOVE my eyebrows.
Stephanie and Christina are great. I enjoy going to my appointments and chatting with them about pretty much everything. Their space is cute and clean and inside of a large free parking lot. It just doesn’t get any better.

I LOVE Bombshell! Christina is amazing, and it’s always such fun to catch up with her and her sister, Stephanie. Two fabulous women with a great vibe. My brows always look great when I leave — I love that Christina adds touchup makeup after waxing, so that I can go right to work/​wherever, and don’t look like I just got hair ripped off my face. :-) My hubby even comes along sometimes!
Sometimes it’s tough to get an appointment (because they are so awesome), but it’s well worth the wait!

In the last ten years I’ve been to many, many, many spas, salons, and hair removal places to find thee one person who can get my eyebrows right. I came here for the first time in November after going to some threading place who pretty much left me with NO eyebrows. My cousin had already recommended bombshell, so I made my appointment.
I have to say I was annoyed how long I had to wait but only because I heard she was so good at what she does. And let me say, it was so worth the wait! It’s been almost 3 months and my eyebrows are looking a lot better! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you’re looking for someone to really take the time to do a good job, come here!

Once you go Bombshell, you won’t even think about going anywhere else!
