I am disappointed with my order. I was craving for some good won ton soup, chow mein, fried rice and vegetables. I ordered orange chicken and sweet and sour pork for my kids. None of it tasted good. There was no flavor. I should have saved my $$.

uh, not so great at dinner. place was empty with a few regulars. I think the regular menu is not where you should order from. Jajang noodles were not on the menu and the dan dan noodles were an interesting pink mess. enxt time i’ll be brave and order from Unilocal photos.

Discovered this place a while back, but never really had a chance to drop by. Apparently they do delivery as well which is a big plus since there’s so many hotels nearby. This place is pretty awesome and the food taste great. It’s quite affordable for being in Millbrae as well. Usually surrounding restaurants are about 4 – 5 more $ per plate of food. I got the Zha Jiang Mian cause I was seriously craving that and Yi yuan was packed. Note, that this is the Korean version and not the Beijing version of the noodles, but it was on point and tasted great. Customer service was excellent and they treated us pretty well. Most people tend to order delivery or take out and there’s slight parking on the side(in the rear). Overall I would say it’s great, but if you want legit hand pulled noodles, try Yi Yuan a few blocks down.

Ordered delivery to my hotel. Gentleman who took my phone order was very polite and told me it would be about 45 min. The food actually got to my hotel in about 40 min. The food itself was awesome! Fresh, large portions and really hot. Definitely will order again! Note: $ 20.00 minimum for delivery.

The hotel I’m staying at recommended the spot and stated they deliver to the hotel. So we tried. The only draw back is delivery is slower than the 20 minutes they state. We had the pepper/salted pork chops, Mongolian beef, wor wonton soup and it was good. The prices are great. If ever in Milbrae and want some Chinese food I will definitely eat in; not order for delivery.

I LOVE this place! The War Won Ton Soup is out of this world good. The flavor of the broth alone makes this a MUST. They also have excellent Mongolian Beef and Szechuan Prawns. The price isn’t too bad and the staff is always super friendly to my husband and me-although the latter may be because we live near them and frequent the restaurant. I also really enjoy the lemon chicken but only when ordered to go and eaten right away. Or if you ask for the sauce on the side. That way the chicken stays crispy. Parking is all street(the apartments on either side will have you towed!) but it’s worth the little walk!

My experience here was honestly pretty meh, and maybe the fact that I got only noodles was a bit limiting, but here we go. Chef Wang chow mein, fried noodles with shrimp and beef. Unimpressive but still flavorful. Black bean sauce noodles. Pretty standard. Bits of meat with some lightly cooked onions in a simple sauce which was good. My beef with this place was their tan tan noodles. Maybe they just got my order wrong but this was not what I expected at all. It was the same thicker noodles from the black bean noodles, not the thinner, more elastic noodles. The sauce was this thick and simple and just not at all your usual tan tan noodles. Not spicy, not oily, and not covered in ground pork. I was incredibly disappointed. Service was good, and the décor was clean. A simple place, but unsatisfying.

Decent Chinese food for the price altogether, but like many posted here, really ain’t nothing special or astonishing. Bottom line if you want some simply decent Chinese noodles and some side entrees of salt and pepper pork chops, Mongolian beef or something with a side of beer, then this place will meet criteria. Just don’t order any too fancy of a dish because that’ll take some time, the place will be more under the category of Chinese diner. I definitely liked their Dan Dan noodle, pretty tasty. Had spring rolls with it for lung and both went good with tea. Like I said just don’t go crazy with expectations. It’s a diner for sakes.

Best jjampong(seafood noodle soup) and tang-su-yuk(sweet & sour fried beef) that I’ve had, even compared to korean-chinese fare in south korea.

I am updating my review. I came in an on a Friday evening the restaurant was empty that should’ve been a sign. We left after being seated and waiting 20 minutes of no service. My fiancé and I thought that was rude so we left and went elsewhere. We tried giving it another shot and this time we did take out and the food was ok. Nothing spectacular and I’ve had this food before and my family and I have enjoyed it. This place has definitely gone downhill. Will not be returning. I will add that after getting take out on Saturday I did get food poisoning :(our left overs we put in the fridge and luckily we just threw it out because it had a bad odor I called and the guy said the food isn’t good after 45 min wtf. So make sure you eat your food quick. My family has been coming here for years and they will not come back either.

I’m so happy I found this place on Unilocal.I was craving jajangmyeon one night, and since I live in SSF, San Tung and Zazang were both too far for me. Good ol’ handy Unilocal to the rescue! From the outside, you would never think that this restaurant would serve jajangmyeon. but we gave it a try and have no regrets. Their menu is mostly chinese food, but they do have a korean menu and it is literally in Korean. I wish they would have one with english translations but they do also have pictures posted on their walls of some of the korean dishes. We ordered a half half dish — half jajangmyeon and half jampong(seafood noodle soup). It comes in one bowl that has a divider in the middle. We also ordered tangsuyuk(korean sweet sour pork). The jajangmyeon was delicious, and abundant in sauce. I do tend to like it with a little less sauce but the flavor is delicious. The jampong could be improved on; the noodles and seafood were delicious and fresh, but the broth itself was very bland. The pork, omg, the PORK. That was the winning dish. SOMUCHFLAVOR in one bite and the meat was incredibly tender and juicy. Came back a second to order just the jajangmyeon cause it’s bomb AF. I will def keep coming back!

My family and I have been coming here for YEARS. It’s delicious and affordable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The kimchi that they make here is really addicting(I’m Korean, and I think it’s yummy!) My family likes to order the sizzling rice soup, tang-soo-yuk, spicy jangbong, wasabi jellyfish, and spicy chili beef. Everything is tasteful, not too salty but just the right amount of savory, and I don’t feel like the food here is greasy at all either. We share everything family-style, and the food portions are good. My family has been coming here since I was little, and we will continue to come here, because the quality has never changed.

On the day I went, I had picked up my step dad(whom I had not seen in 18 years) from the SFO airport and we decided to go eat during his 4 hour layover. He wanted Chinese so I Unilocaled some nearby restaurants and this one came up. We drove over and parked in front of the restaurant. When we got there the front door was open and we walked in. It was HOT as blazes in there and we were SWEATING profusely. We were going to leave, but upon review of any other restaurants in the area, we didn’t think we would be able to find them or get there in time for us to eat and relax. So, we stayed. The food was really good actually, except for these noodles I ordered. They were SUPERSUPER long and the server brought us a pair of scissors to cut them. I get it and its kind of a fun experience right. But the sauce was too thick and it coated the noodles really sticky like. So when trying to pull the noodles up and cut them, it just made a horrible mess. I would have much preferred they cut the noodles for me in the kitchen before serving them to me. Also, I wasn’t entirely convinced the scissors were clean or food quality scissors. So, I ended up not eating the noodles. My dad liked his food, but I can’t remember what he had. I do know we ordered some pot stickers and they were good. My meal was probably something light, as I like seafood and or vegetarian style dishes. I do remember looking for squid and not being able to find it on the menu. I don’t think I would go back here to this restaurant, but in the end, it was the company I was with and getting to see my dad whom I had not seen in so very long, that made it a great hour and half of quality time. So I am thank flu to the restaurant for that. My only other wish, would have been for them to please give me ice in my water. We were dying and sweating all over the place.

This place was awesome, I found a new Chinese food restaurant close to home. The food came out within minutes and service was 5 stars, and the place was really busy on a Sunday night. I will be going back again…

We have been ordering delivery from here for several years. The delivery guy and young lady are always very sweet and polite. They always remember our 3yo daughter and say hi to her when they deliver. The food is delishious and reasonably priced.

It sucks to give a restaurant that I use to love going to now a 2 star. I wanted to give it 1 but there were some positive times. My family and I have been coming here since about 5 years ago because the quality of food was pretty good for the price. Big portions and so tasty. Especially there dan dan noodles and house special noodles, which they make the noodles themselves. All that has changed now. We ordered take out the other day and wow. It was really just crap. We ordered the tomato beef, which had a whole lot of vegetables and like 5 pieces of beef in it. They tried covering it up with vegetables and sauce, but you can tell from the gecko there was barely any meat. We also ordered a stir fry tofu vegetable dish. Tell me why were there noodle mixed in it? Seems like they were just trying to fill up space in the take out with noodles. Seriously how cheap. With noodles, they definitely cut the portion size to half of what they served when I first came here. The food has definitely declined in the years I’ve been going. They have been going really cheap with their entrees by filling it with more vegetables and now, noodles. There is barely any meat in dishes you order that has combo of meat and vegetables. Not only that, but you are paying about $ 8 – 10 for an entrée. So prices have gone up whereas quality has gone down. What really made me upset the other day was when they gave me the change, they gave me all small coins! 70 cents in dimes and nickels. Ugh. Turn away and don’t come here. There is a reason why the place is pretty empty.

Im so disappointed the service was hella bad, we ordered 3 different types of dish for delivery on the phone and she told me like 20mins but its been an hour so i called back like 3x and no one’s answering the call when the time she answered my call i asked about my order when the time she heard what i said she hang up the phone so i called back again and she answered me «where so busy right now» it really pissed me off cus they dont put our order and doesn’t call back that they cant do it, then asked me if i can wait for another 30mins, seriously?? ? I’ve worked in a 2 different restaurant before i work as a customer service agent so i know how it feels when it gets busy but on how they deal with their is not good at all…

I’m sad to say I had a really bad experience here. I can tell you that I’ve worked at many restaurants before and even act as a quality check at some, so my tastebuds are on point. It all started with the hot and sour soup. The color was a pale yellowish color. Uncharacteristic for a hot and sour soup. Next was the taste… It was pretty much like water and pepper. It had no flavor to it what so ever. We also ordered the Szechuan greenbean chicken. This was delicious had a great flavor! We thought our soup was just a fluke and the rest if the meal was gonna be just as good as the chicken. We were so wrong. Jajang myun — um ok. It looked liked jajang myun and tasted like nothing. Seriously. It tasted like water and noodles. You see the theme of 2⁄3 of our meal tasting like water? Because it literally had NOFLAVOR. This might have been the up and down quality you Unilocalers were taking about. I’m so disappointed. This was not restaurant quality food. Might give it another try to see if anything changes. But not for a long time.

I love their Dan Dan noodle and fried rice. But sometimes the fried rice tastes like they didn’t put any salt in it. The customer service is good. The waiter is friendly and always make me feel welcomed.
