Their roti buns are always making this cute little place smell delicious. Learned my lesson to always call before coming here because the store hours aren’t as accurate as displayed but nonetheless their roti buns are the bomb

Came here on a weekday for something quick to eat after getting off BART. Just paid for an egg custard and ate it there. It was delicious. Maybe not the best I’ve had, but decent for a quick snack I couldn’t find anywhere nearby.
The place was mostly empty and the few people who were there were youth/​high school students.
Next time I might try their boba.

I was so pleased to find out that there was a Honeyberry close to where I work! So I decided today was the day that I make my appearance. I ordered a milk tea with boba, cream cheese Roti bun and potstickers. Pretty straight forward. I got to put in how much boba my heart desired which was cool. They even warmed up my Roti bun so it’s nice and toasty. I got my drink and my first sip tasted a little perfumey… weird. I took another sip and tasted a faint flowery taste. It’s so odd. The milk tea was very sweet and not enough tea flavor. The boba in the milk tea was hard. The Roti bun was not bad. The potstickers were terrible. Soggy and just didn’t have much flavor even after adding soy sauce.
What a let down! Maybe I’ll give it another try, but definitely gonna order something else and staying away from the boba.

Came here just wanting milk tea and BOBA, but then i realize they have alot of yummy looking dessert maybe i will try it next time. BOBA and toppings are self-​served. Overall not the best milk tea but decent, I’ve had better. BOBA is kind of hard. I would not come back for the milk tea, but definitely will be back to try out the dessert. Until next time!

Very clean and modern facility. The owner is very nice and accommodating. We had Thai tea and milk tea with boba. Very delicious. Definitely will visit again next time we’re in the area!

I got the roti so I am just writing a review for that. YUM! It hit the spot. Very clean place and luckily there wasn’t too much line. I was hoping for more boba tea options but it wasn’t a flourished as other places so I opted for none. It is near by so I’ll def go back for roti: D

I had a craving for a Portuguese tart so I stopped by to check this place out since I was lured in by the smell of fresh baked goods.
This place has a wide variety of desserts from gelato to milk tea drinks. They have 3 different types of tarts: Coconut, plain egg, and Portuguese tart.
The Portuguese tart was very good, and fresh.
They also serve roti bread which they say they bake every 15 minutes. There was a long line for their desserts, and I’m glad their in Millbrae in case I want some good desserts!

Bomb Thai Ice Tea and Roti buns. I wish the roti buns had more chocolate and cream inside. Great costumer service and lots of room to chill out.

Ordered an original milk tea here, and unfortunately it was the worst I’ve ever had. and I’m quite an avid boba drinker too. But jeez, this place even made me regret not going to a low-​grade store like Quickly’s instead.
The tapioca pearls tasted over a day old with its hard center and soggy surface. The drink itself had a very sweet-​milky taste and was lacking any tea aroma. Plus it came straight out from a pitcher that was pre-​made which tells you that it’s not fresh.
If you’re looking for a decent boba store, this would not be it. Or just get water instead.

I was an avid Honeyberry fan when I was working in the Evergreen Area of San Jose, and was an avid Honeyberry fan when the location on Irving in SF was still open. So when I was craving for the roti buns and signature milk tea of HB, I made the trek to Millbrae with the boyfriend to get that craving fulfilled.
This HB has really cute décor. However, they missed the memo on how to properly butter the roti buns. When we ordered, it was kind of stale and not warm at all. The butter in the chocolate butter roti bun was literally just a dab in the middle, making the rest unfit for eating.
1 star to the young asian dude working the counter, and who also offered to save us roti buns so we wouldn’t get sold out before we got there, another star for the cute décor, and third star for allowing the customers to add however much boba/​toppings they want in their drink.
Fix your roti buns, Honeyberry Millbrae, and I’ll increase it to 5 stars that are rightfully yours *heart emoji*

With the large amount of bubble tea places out there, this one is generally an afterthought for me. I love that you can put in your own toppings, and can actually add a lot if you want. But my last milk tea had that funny separated look to it, like the milk was old or something. I didn’t want to take a chance so I ended up dumping it.
I will give them credit as their service is pretty nice and I do love their egg tarts and roti buns. If you want a quick dessert, this is a nice option, but I’ll probably get my drinks elsewhere.

Finally got a chance to try this place and glad I did… I had their roti bun which was soooo good with a thai tea (put in your own toppings)…that was yuum as well.
Service was on point we walked in around closing time the guy at front was really nice took his time to tell us what’s really popular and waited patiently while we made our choices and not once did he rush us out. Deff 2 stars in my review :)
Place is clean really bright and very spacious… will be back when in the mood for a sweet treat!

This is the first place I’ve been to that has dessert toast. It is a creation that I find most wonderful, because 1) it’s toast, 2) it’s got ice cream, 3) it’s beautiful. And there’s very little I find wrong with that, aside from the fact that it takes surprisingly long and they don’t tell you that. This is fine as long as you’re with good company.
The milk tea was okay, nothing to write home about. I nearly finished it whilst waiting for the toast, which was a bit annoying. But when it arrived, there was nothing else I cared about in the world. Because TOAST! ICE CREAM! BEAUTIFUL PRESENTATION! And I’m sorry. Did I say ice cream? I meant freakin’ GELATO. TWO FLAVORS. And it was lovely.
I am told that there are many other ones out there, but for my first go at it, it was delicious. Patience is necessary when ordering it. Next time, though, I want to try one of those roti buns… they looked positively drool-​worthy.

The smell of fresh roti buns is seductive. It lures you into Honeyberry.
We had to wait a few minutes for the current batch of roti buns to come out of the oven, but it was worth the wait. Of course, they are only the best when right out of the oven. Toasty carbs, yum!
Boba buffet – best idea ever. I’m a sucker for boba teas. While the buffet is actually pretty unnecessary. I mean really how many jellies and bobas can you pack into a cup before you’re ordering boba with a side of tea. Anyway, the novelty of self serve is the selling point.
The space is clean and bright. Wouldn’t mind hanging out getting some work done here.

I arrived here at 10:15pm on a Friday night and the place closes at 11pm. The guy at the counter told us that they were sold out of Roti Buns, so my friend and I didn’t know what else to order. The whole purpose of going in was so that we could try their Roti Buns. I don’t know why they were sold out when they still had 45 minutes until closing time. People that came in after us were also disappointed that they had no more Roti Buns.
My friend and I shared a Thai Milk Tea, which was average, nothing too spectacular. She also bought a coconut tart.
I will have to come back to try the Roti Buns next time.

EGG TARTS EGG TARTS EGG TARTS! They revamped their menu recently and so far, I like it! Aside from their honey toasts, they now have waffle gelato, roti buns with gelato, smoothies… everything that they’ve had at other HoneyBerry locations but wasn’t at Millbrae is now at Millbrae. I’m a fan of flakey egg tarts but they don’t seem to make those much anymore. So as I tried the new buttery ones, I’m amazed at how much I enjoy it. The crust is like a butter cookie and yet it’s not soggy where the custard sits. And surprisingly, it’s not overly sweet at all. I know this is a big statement but– I think their custard mix is actually comparable to Golden Gate bakery. I’m also a fan of their gelato, particularly the mango one and the sesame one which are always sold out so they always have fresh batches!

Average tea place in milbrae!
The inside is bright, clean, and modern. There are «fresh» egg tarts next to the cash register for sale, and various baked goods and fancy bakery treats. The jelly station seems pretty cool, as do the tea options.
In terms of drink quality, it’s ok. The lemon tea had actual slices of lemons in it. Nice!

What an adorable, clean and delicious place. Stopped in for a smoothie (the peach & mango was so tasty!) And the whole place smelled fantastic! Its very clean, lots of options and family run. The bathrooms are well kept too. Would definitely go back to try the rest of the menu!

From the exterior, you would think this Honeyberry is very small. It’s actually spacious compared to their San Mateo and San Francisco location.
Came in on a Sunday afternoon and ordered three original roti buns. Known for their hot fresh baked buns, I was appalled when the girl behind the counter try to pawn off the cold buns to me. Of course I refused and requested that she provide me with fresh hot buns.
Service here is minimal.

Yes, finally… roti buns are just a wee bit closer to me now.
This location is located in Millbrae along El Camino and it’s actually really easy to get to especially if you know where La Petite Camille is because it’s on the side directly across from La Petite Camille. If you drive on El Camino in the Millbrae area, keep an eye out for HOT POT GARDEN, because Honey Berry opened up next to there.
Parking is all on the street and there is a time limit of 1 hour.
This location is definitely bigger than the San Mateo one. There’s much more space to maneuver around in as you go farther into the store. The set up here is pretty much the same as San Mateo, though. You walk in and you’ll see their selection of gelato and the kitchen right behind the cash register. And the toppings for their milk teas are all laid out in the open, too.
Service here was okay. The girl greeted me as I walked in and re-​heated 2 of their roti buns for me (regular is priced at $ 1.65 each). I didn’t really stay long, but the roti buns were good, although one of them did taste a bit more salty than sweet… I’ll probably still come back and get more in the future.
