I blew out a tire on 101 and didn’t have much of a choice on where to go. AAA suggested I go here because it was the closest. I was expecting to be taken to the cleaners given I needed things fixed right away, but it turned out to be great. They didn’t try to upsell other services. Tony was great. I’ll definitely go back there for any automotive need.

Went in with an electrical problem that drove me and a couple of other guys nuts. thought I might have to go to a dealer, but was told to talk to Tony. left it for a diagnostic and whala, problem solved… showed the defective part and why it went south… he showed transparency… thanks

Wow. Tony was awsome. Very knowledgeable. He reccomended the perfect tires for my Nissan Xterra. I tow a boat so it’s pretty important for me to have the right tire. His team installed the new tires and my Xterra rides great now. Even hooked up to my boat to tow and test out. Excellent customer service.

I have been coming to these guys for years and can’t say enough good things about them. They do a great job of explaining things and I never feel ripped off or taken advantage of as I have at other places. Great, professional service! I appreciate everything you guys do!

It took a few days longer than expected to fix my car as they had trouble getting the right part. So to make up for the delay THEY DIDNT CHARGE ME ANY LABOR. Amazing!

I got in a accident recently and much of my car was damaged, as well as I had an overheating problem. They were so nice and proffessional. I think the person who helped me was Tony, and he told me exactly what needed to be fixed, if it was worth it or not, and the prices. It’s hard to find a good mecahanic, especially when youre a girl because they tend to think we don’t know much about prices and cars, but these guys really helped me out and were very honest and realistic. Millbrae Tire and Auto Repair is definietely the only place I’ll go to get anything done to my car. I live near this autoshop, but even If I was 50 miles away, I would still go here.

Won’t go back here again! They only render good service if they’ll get a big job from you otherwise they’ll ignore you. Did not repair the hole because It wasn’t repairable. Went to California Auto Care in Burlingame repaired it for free! (I go here for oil change and they were still closed.) I’m convinced California Auto Care in California Drive is the BEST and most HONEST!!!

Turned out after extensive inspection that there is no evidence of damage to my tire. When I work up this morning and checked, it seemed low. I tried to put air in and my air pressure gauge said it was going lower each time. One of those mysteries of life.
They said they’d love to fix my tire but nothing is wrong with it so just keep an eye on it and bring it back if there is a problem. Checked all tires, adjusted air pressure. No charge. Classy outfit. Go to Millbrae Tire and Auto Repair for tires, etc. Recommended!

5 Years later and Tony and Millbrae Tire still take great care of us!

I’m happy and sad to say I’ve been back to Millbrae Tire on four occasions and the service was wonderful again. These guys are now my go-​to garage for repairs, tires etc. Heck, even great advice on tuning my truck/​exhaust etc.
Call them, you’ll be glad you switch shops!

After Unilocaling tire centers around the area I thought I finally found one that was honest and trustworthy. I was wrong. I came here for a tire replacement to be done on one tire due to a puncture. The car I have I bought new two years ago with under 30,000 miles on it with tires from the dealership. I was shown my tire and was told that ALL my tires were unsafe and they all needed to be replaced. After asking if I could just do one tire, the guy told me that he wouldn’t do that because their shop would be held liable if I drove off and had an issue with the other tires. I didn’t feel right with this answer and went to Costco for a second opinion. Costco isn’t on commission and they told me that all my tires were good for another 20,000 miles, except for the tire with the puncture of course. Instead of trying to rob me of more money than I have and lying bold face to me, Costco did my one punctured tire like I originally needed. I am a young woman yes, but this doesn’t give you the right to assume I can’t make informed decisions on my own and know when someone is lying to me to get more money from me. Just another tire place that you have to read between the lines to find the truth. Really is a shame, I wanted to give local shops my business but definitely will not be doing that in the future.

My family and I were heading back down to Los Angeles after a long weekend in San Francisco. On our drive down, we unfortunately ran over a nail and needed our tire repaired.
With numerous tire shops in Milbrae, we chose the one with a great rating on Unilocal.We don’t regret it whatsoever.
The folks at the front desk were friendly, helpful, and exude great customer service. They literally took a few minutes to remove the nail, repair the tire, and put it back onto my car.
We did pay $ 39.99 for a tire repair, but I’d pay that all over again to receive the same customer service that I got from this company. Great people. Great service. Great experience.

Tony and Vadim are my go-​to mechanics. From routine maintenance to mysterious noises and break downs, they always do a thorough check and great work on my car. Followed them over from their Daly City location because I respect their honesty, fair prices, and good work. Highly recommend to anyone!

Best Mechanic shop in the Bay Area!!! I’ve had several cars worked on at this shop. They are fast, efficient, and get the job done right the first time! Great staff and cool owner.

I had a nail in my tire and they repaired my tire without an appointment in 30 minutes for $ 49. The service was fantastic. I brought my car to Wheel Works in San Mateo and they told me I needed a new tire and it would cost me $ 510 and that it could not be repaired. I would definitely return to Millbrae Tire and will not be returning to Wheel Works. Thanks again for great service and saving me $ 460

We were exhausted and were trying to get home with our baby from the airport when we ended up with a flat on the highway! Luckily this place was close to our exit and when we drove in they were not busy and were able to take care of us us quickly. The owner told me the job would take about an hour so we decided to wait there. Big mistake, their waiting area was very cold and uncomfortable. After about an hour I asked the other guy behind the desk how much longer it would be and he said he did not know. After an additional 30 min passed, we decided to go get a bite to eat and come back. When we came back the car was still not ready and when I asked the guy behind the counter how much longer, he seemed annoyed. Overall the tire service provided was ok, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. I am just happy they got me out of the bind we were in, but if I had a choice, I would choose another place.

Tony and the team continue to impress! It’s been 4 years since my initial review and neither I nor my friends have ever been disappointed with the price, honesty (a rare find), quality, speed, and reliability of the work here.
They’re also open on Saturdays which is a huge plus for those of us that don’t work in the peninsula. Just call ahead to see if they can fit you in. They’re honest about their schedules and bandwidth for incoming jobs.

Wanted to drive my car before I pay for the repairs, and they let me do it with out any objection.
Needed a ride back to my home, which they provided with a smile.
The work on my 2002 MINI Cooper S was quickly completed, with honesty and integrity.

Came here since it’s so close and convenient. The Toyota service centers within a five-​mile radius were all fully booked, some for the weekend and some through the following week, ridiculous! This place took us in right away for our cold-​start problems that we’ve been experiencing for the past month. Diagnosis is $ 125, which is $ 25 more than the Putnam Toyota service center, but this place is way better because we didn’t even have to call in advance to check on availability (and if we did call, I bet we would’ve have gotten hung-​up on).
The guy at the front desk asked my dad a series of questions about the car and the problems we’ve been experiencing. When my dad said that it was likely the air valve, the guy at the front desk explained in detail how that could very much be possible, and why. He talked logistics, such as what we should do (leave the car there overnight for the engine to cool off and become cold again), when we should do it (immediately), what they will do (this I didn’t really pay attention to), when they will do it (first thing in the morning), and promised that they would call us before they diagnose the problem so we can be there in person when they do it.
The car hasn’t even been diagnosed yet (not the next day yet) and I am extremely impressed with the customer service already. When we left the car with them, we popped in before we left the premises and my dad said, «Remember to call me tomorrow before you diagnose!» And the guy said, «Will do!»
Love it. Will update on diagnosis, style of diagnosis, and result.
