3 stars for the sandwiches and 1 star for customer service. The owner can be less cheap and hire more that one person per shift.

Totally typical Subway in every way that I can see; not as spectacular an experience as some have written about, with their five-star reviews. But also, never a bad experience either. Sort of bummed that Subway(corporate) just got on-board with the Kuerig thing now that we realize how bad they are for landfills and are going out-of-vogue, but their coffee wasn’t very good before either, so… neither one is a homerun. A fine Subway to do your Subway thang.

I’ll give a 3 for the sandwich and a 1 rating for customer service. I stood at the counter for a couple minutes being ignored while the guy walked back and forth stocking his supplies then when he finally looks up I get«Yes»? I order my sandwich in the same tone I received and proceeded to answer the same questions over and over again because he didn’t feel like listening to me the first time. Towards then end his demeanor changed a bit when my bothersome request for a sandwich was almost complete but if I want to be treated like this I could just stay home. Acknowledge your customers, be friendly and don’t make them feel like they are bothering you and you may keep them. Just a suggestion.

After a long day of traveling, my husband and I decided to stop in around 9pm because Subway was close to our hotel. Unfortunately, we were turned away upon arrival because the guy working was«on break.» You’ve got to be kidding me.

Like it that it is clean, close to other places like trader joes, safeway and not too many people to wait for. Pretty decent sized space too.

Yes, I’m giving a Subway 5 stars. Bear with me. It’s like a local sandwich shop owner opened a Subway. (Top 5) 1. he remembers my order. 2. he makes me a custom order(the Italian Melt with double meat, BUT doubling the turkey like a 100% turkey and ‘singling’ the other less healthy stuff so it stays healthy and I can eat half before and half after my 24 hour fitness trip) every time (btw. 24 Hour Fitness is in the same building. I think the sandwich counter is right below the TRX station. LOTS of the health conscious people in the gym go there before and after.) 3. I get a single arm ‘bash brothers’ hello(so he doesn’t dirty his food prep gloves) upon ordering and check out. 4. he calls me «boss» 5. I ask and he tells me about his family who I met here once. add this to a spotless store, outdoor shaded seating, up from the street, the fact that the manager doesn’t stockpile toppings and have them sit all day or over night(they always have someone prepping vegetables etc) and the result? for a quick lunch or to-go, I pick this over the lines at Trader Joe’s down the street(and no where to sit) and over the pre-made food at Safeway(it’s cheaper AND you get more). Not to mention the free parking out front and the free garage parking in the shade below the building(access on Broadway just past the store). Total visits in last 6 months? whatever 3 – 4 times per week average amounts to. :-)
