For the price, this is the best Italian place you can get. Seriously people, I don’t understand the 1 star review on Zorbas. The pizza, steak and zorbas wings are all amazing! Plus they do delivery very fast.

Thank you Nick and all your staff today for excellent service and delicious food. Our pizza was awesome and came out in the exact amount of time quoted over the phone. We will definitely be back soon!

Pretty standard delivery experience. The food was okay. Definitely not the best pizza I’ve had, but when you’re stuck in a hotel near the water — there aren’t that many delivery options, unfortunately.

This authentic Italian Pizza place was just what we needed! We ordered delivery as we were exhausted from traveling all day. The order was fulfilled in a timely manner and the quality was delicious. We got a medium 14″ pepperoni pizza, cheesy garlic bread with marinara sauce and 10 buffalo hot wings! The pizza dough was by far, some of the most delicious I’ve tasted. It wasn’t too dense, and was delightful to the palette! It wasn’t greasy at all, and had lots of pepperoni. The cheesy garlic bread was crunchy, but not stiff and dense with feta, mozzarella cheese, butter, garlic and herbs. The wings were just the right amount of spice, with plenty of buffalo flavor. They paired perfectly with the ranch and had a great deal of meat on the bone! The delivery employee was so grateful and pleasant to interact with even thought he barely spoke English.

I have been disappointed now more than once. Usually the food is ok but the last time-today burnt! Completely burnt! I am so hungry that I’m just going to force it down. This is a pastrami sandwich. Pretty gross tasting with the burn taste really strong. Not only that but i work 3 doors down and they won’t deliver w/out me spending 25 dollars or more AND i eat there at least 3 times a week! The food is good most of the time but they treat their customers unkindly Never again!.com PLEASESEEATTACHEDPICTURE! !! WORTH A THOUSANDWORDS! !

We’ve been having pizza from Zorbas for a very long time unfortunately tonight our pizza was just not up to par. Crust was good as always. Sauce wasn’t as good as it usually is and the amount of cheese that was on our pizza was barely anything. It was basically tomato sauce with a tad bit of cheese and some sparse toppings. And yes, like another reviewer said the dude was way too loud behind the counter. Unpleasant.

Zorbas is the bomb. One slice and I’m full lol. They use a lot of toppings, the pizza is high quality, and the beer is ice cold. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Ordered ahead because initially the order was for pick up. But decided to dine in instead. Quick service, great customer service. Enjoyed the chicken ranchero pizza. The crust was perfect!

Very friendly place and great for families. Got the gyro pizza with mushrooms and was fantastic. The garlic bread wasn’t any thing too special; garlic butter spread on italian bread.

We went to have pizza last Friday night here. I’ve been here before, and this seems to be the best pizza around, I would have to say better than Toto’s. Whereas Toto’s has a good pizza for regular crust and one topping, Zorba’s has great crust strong enough for any number of toppings, the sauce is zesty and tasty, the crust has good flavor, and it has a «one more slice» addiction factor. They were a bit slow and ‘messed up’ by adding cheese to our garlic bread, which arrived after the pizza. They made up for this by being extra attentive afterward and getting us more beer. But, beside this, we were happy with the food and the ambiance. Pretty good for family, or with just one person in the booth. Definitely one of the better pizzas I’ve had in the bay.

Finally had a chance to check out this place. Though there was a kids bday party going on, it was very noisy and chaotic at times, but throughout, the service we got was excellent. Friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Bonus of getting free garlic bread via the checkin on Unilocal, and the pizza was yummy too. I loved the crust!!!

In town with a friend. Long day in SF went back to the hotel and decided to order in. Great decision, quick, free delivery, fantastic crust, although we should have ordered thick crust for the amount of toppings we selected. We were quite surprised at how generous they were with the fresh and tasty toppings. A bit pricy, but totally tasty and satisfying. We may have another pizza before this trip is over ;).

Unilocal says they’re open until 10. Called @ 9:35, and here was how jackass answered the phone: «Zorba’s…we’re closed!» Really? That’s what you call customer service? I won’t try a second time. Didn’t even deserve one star!

This is my 4th time and counting ordering recently since I stopped using Dinappoli’s in South San Francisco after over 20 years surface between work and home(see my review). As promised and reached out to the Unilocal community and found my new favorite place. Instead of winter weight, I’m going to call it «Gyro Weight.» BTW, it’s pronounced«Yee-ROW» people. Pronouncing it the other way is like nails on a chalkboard to us Greeks… ORDEREPLACED: IIII

When my beloved Seniore’s was burned down(insert sad emoji here), I needed to find a new go-to pizza joint. I tried Toto’s and Extreme but those pizzas just didn’t live up to par. Alas, my wannabe spider senses detected what would be my new go-to pizza locale. I called for delivery one night and the gentleman on the other end was friendly and patient. My first order was simple: half Hawaiian and half pepperoni and mushroom. I figured if this simple order did not result in a mouthwatering finish, then my wannabe spider sense failed me. I was quoted a 40 – 45 minute delivery time and indeed, my pizza arrived within that time frame(insert applause emoji here). The pizza was intact, beautiful, hot, and steaming, as the aroma traveled through my home. The first bite was delightful. The second bite was scrumptious. The third bite was better than the first two. The fourth, fifth, sixth, etc. were just Oh My God(Insert OMG emoji here). And then there was the crust. Now, for as long as I’ve eaten pizza, I never, ever ate the crust. The wasted crust always stayed in the pizza box and went on its way to the trash. But Zorba’s crust is a whole new level. It’s soft, easy to eat(not crunchy or hard), and tasty. So now, the only item going into the trash is the pizza box and all the crust has been accounted for. Zorba’s has delivered pizza to my home two additional times already and those two occasions were equivalent to the first, if not, better. Zorba’s pizzas are hot from the oven, made with fresh ingredients, and lip smackingly delicious. Thanks Zorba’s, I’ll be seeing you soon!(insert smiley emoji here).

«Meh. I’ve experienced better» Unilocal’s suggested two star guideline pretty much subs my Zorba’s experience up. Came here fresh from SFO with my team and was looking forward to some hearty italian fare. For starters, the ambiance and overall décor of the place is extremely run down — almost Chucky Cheese like. I don’t understand what direction they are trying to go — greek or italian? We had made reservation for our larger group and our table was preset, but with paper plates and cups. Why? This is a restaurant not a backyard BBQ! The service was disorganized and slow. Granted, we were a large party, but the wait, confusion of orders and awkward timing of the service was difficult not to notice. Our party of about 20 was serviced by one waitress who was patient and kind but lacked experience. 3 of our orders(including mine) weren’t even put in so we had to wait while the rest of the group ate. Even when the kitchen was done preparing the food and set it out to be served, she took about 10 minutes to organize what went where and to get the food on our table. I decided to split their«deluxe» pesto chicken pizza and pesto gnocchi. You can see the pizzas being prepared in the front and they claim to have«the best pizza on the peninsula» but even for being«fresh», it tasted very mediocre. The dough wasn’t fresh tasting or quality by any means and the cheese overwhelmed the pizza and made the toppings and sauce hard to decipher. The pesto gnocchi was more of a pesto soup(although as a pesto lover I’m not complaining) with packaged, not fresh, gnocchi. The pesto was the best part of my meal. Bright green and slightly creamy with a generous amount of garlic, just how I like it. I tried a bite of my friends baked chicken and was completely turned off by the saturation of butter and salt surrounding her chicken, pasta and veggies which left it almost inedible. I really can’t imagine I would ever return to this establishment. Although the servers tried to meet our needs, at the end of the day the food and ambiance really didn’t add up. This place needs a face lift.

Cool little Greek restaurant in San Bruno. Located in the 1500 block of el Camino Real blvd. across the street from the Days Inn. Located inside of what looks like an old Mexican food restaurant, is in need of a serious make over. This little hole in the wall restaurant serves great appetizers, pizzas and Greek cuisine. Close to the airport and open fairly late. A full bar along with drink specials, draft beers and wine by the glass or bottle. We stopped in here after a long day of travel, looking for a libation and some snacks. It was directly across the street from our hotel and after a quick Unilocal search, decided to give it a try. The Cheesier bread is awesome light, freshly toasted and covered with cheeses — as were the Buffalo wings, both dishes fresh made to order and hot out of the kitchen. A bottle of Apothetic Red $ 14.95, which we find in stores for around $ 10 bucks not a bad price for a restaurant. Along with great appetizers this little place was a hit with us, it meet and exceeded our expectations. We did not order a meal however, everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked fresh and good — and if they were like our appetizers — should be tasty. The guy next to us at the bar ordered a pizza and it looked and smelled wonderful. This little place is a solid 4 star restaurant, do not let it’s locale or tiny size fool you. Worth the stop. 82
