This place is great during the summer and fall months. The menu is simple and elegant. The inside bar is also spacious and inviting.

Had a cozy fireside winter dinner here. Food was very good, décor and ambiance fine, and was a good value for menu pricing.

I had a lunch and dinner here over the July 4th weekend while away with some friends. Both meals were delicious — curried chicken wrap was super fresh — salmon dinner the next day perfect. The pâté appetizer was by far my favorite, a close second was the home-made gelato from a local vendor whose store name escapes me at the moment. Service was wonderful — staff very attentive. I will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to Aurelia. Reading the reviews we were excited to give it a try. We arrived early and the hostess seated us with no wait in a great location near the fireplace and window facing the outside seating. Our server was very attentive as was the rest of the wait staff. About 10 mins in I noticed a steady stream of ants marching to and fro across the fireplace mantel and down to the floor. Trying not to make a scene we asked to be moved. The staff apologized and moved us quickly. They also cleaned up the ants the best they could. The manager or owner also stopped by and also apologized for the inconvenience. We only had main courses which were very good. My only complaint is why would they seat another couple in the same seats we just moved from. They also spotted the ant army and moved. It wasn’t that busy. Just a dumb move on their part I guess. I may given them another try.

I recently went to the Sheep and Wool festival in Rhinebeck and then to Aurelia for dinner. It was absolutely wonderful; a lovely atmosphere a the food was out of this world! The kale salad is the best, but everything I had was delicious. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Food is consistently decent, but not the best Millbrook has to offer. The service is so slow each time I’ve dined. It makes us rethink making a reservation.

BF and I stopped in for a quick lunch on our way to Great Barrington, MA. Found this nifty little restaurant on my trusty Unilocal app. We ordered the Seafood salad as an appetizer. For the entrée I had the Shrimp Penne and he had the Curry Chicken wrap. I loved my entrée, a good amount of big shrimp. The BF felt like the wrap lacked chicken though. All in all, a great place for food, nice setting and food was really good. Service was on point too.

This place is amazing! I live in NYC and used to go to the chef’s manhattan restuarant weekly and I was super excited when they opened a second restaurant in Millbrook. To start, the focaicca is maybe the most delicious bread I’ve ever had. They only have this in the Millbrook location and not in their NYC restaurant. The Kale salad and the watermelon goat cheese salads are my favorite of the starters. They are both delicious and one of a kind. Everyone I bring to this place cannot stop talking about them. For mains, I love the gnocchi and occhietti. The gnocchi is like a hug for your taste buds. For desert, the flowerless chocolate cake and panacotta are musts. I never liked panacotta until I tried it at Aurelia. As for the service, I’ve never had any complaints. The owner, Susan, is really sweet and always makes me feel like I am a friends house for dinner rather than a restaurant. She sources the décor from local arts and actually grows a lot of the season veggies and herbs in her own garden. Overall, Aurelia is far and above any of the other spots in town. If you are in Millbrook for a night, this is where you should go.

Our favorite restaurant! The outdoor seating is great and all the people are friendly. Quite a bit of choices for us vegetarians. The kale salad is out of this world and hummus with pita hits the spot for a hungry human. We have never been disappointed and I doubt you will agree Prices are reasonable for the quality of food on the menu

I have eaten at Aurelia’s several times, always at lunch, come to think of it. They have a nice Sunday brunch menu including veggie panini, curried chicken salad, gnocchi and other tasty tidbits. The atmosphere is very pleasant, both inside and out. I love the bar, too… quiet and cozy. I’m making a mental note to try dinner.

Both myself and my girl spent the day at Orvis shooting some clays and we happen to Unilocal this place and boy it was on the money. We had three courses and I own a restaraunt in NJ so I wasn’t really expecting what I would call amazingly excellent. We had a 3 course meal my girl had the kale salad it was perfectly balanced with the currants and the dressing. I had the Frutti Di Mare salad it was excellent the only thing I’m not a fan of roasted red peppers in my seafood. Second course we split the Rigatoni with Eggplant that exploded with flavor as soon as it hit our palate. Last but not least hailing from NYC and NJ there are many French restaraunt’s that make a great duck. I was BLOWNBACK that the duck here was SUPERB cooked perfect, moist and it was seasoned just right. I had the hanger steak was cooked perfect the only thing I didn’t like was the drizzle presentation on the plate. But for Millbrook NY this will be my go to space every time I go to Orvis. Excellent job to the female chef from Princeton!

The restaurant is a total disappointment. They used to have a wonderful chicken and polenta but have changed their menu and now it is so awful that last night I had to even send it back to the kitchen. They over salt their pasta and are heavy handed with rosemary. They just dont get it and I just wont go there again.

Great outdoor space! It was very relaxing to sit in its outdoor café on a lazy summer Saturday afternoon. I had the special fish and mussel soup and it was good.

We got there at 7, they were out of food and only one other party was in the dinning room. They told us there was one gnoochi left, so we ordered it – they came back saying someone at the bar beat us to it. They did not have the beer they advertised on the wine list, and nothing to make an apple martini. We left. The place was awful, just a bunch of buddies drinking at the bar, no one focused on serving food. The waiter apologized but said he understood. This place will close soon.
