Riverside Pizza

This place is gone now. No surprise if you read the reviews. The good news is has been replaced with Dumpling Girl. Check out there reviews, it is very good.

The best chicken Caesar salad I have had in a long time. So large I had some left over for another meal. Lots of grilled deliciously seasoned chicken. And they have an ice cream shop inside as well open year round. Yummy!!!

Honestly, I cannot really believe this place is still in business. I have lived in Millbury for a year, and from the outside it seemed attractive so it is one of the first places we tried. We did not like the pizza, the buffalo chicken, or the «salad,» nothing seemed fresh or pleasant tasting. Many other local places are much, much better for that type of food. Despite the attractive outer appearance sitting inside you easily notice the place is not maintained at all, lots of wear for a newer building.
Outside there is a banner advertising the weekend breakfast, I believe it is $ 10pp. It was terrible. It was dirty, there was trash piled in the corner (right beside the buffet). All of the food was cold, more than half of the buffet was empty– not out of food just never filled. The food was not easily served, the pastries clearly were bought at a supermarket– possibly out of the day old bin. No one was working while we were there, the only employee got up for us to pay, and then returned to eating breakfast with his wife so we were unable to request any condiments, NAPKINS or other necessities. Even the coffee was dirty with bits floating in it. I was very happy to leave here, just to go home and at least have some clean coffee.
The ice cream is good, however the ice cream service is beyond slow (over a 20 minute wait!)– and after my breakfast experience there I simply cannot eat there again, who knows what goes on behind the scenes of the ice cream section (after seeing the breakfast mess out in the open my mind wanders about what is out of sight…). There are other excellent ice cream places also in town.
I do not recommend Riverside Pizza to anyone, for anything… well maybe a health/​food safety inspector would find this place interesting…

Never had food here nor would I really be interested but it’s ALL about the ice cream! I have never had Dino crunch ice cream until my boyfriend told me it was no option for me BUT to try it! I am absolutely ice cream obsessed and this takes me to another world!!! It is a flavor like no other and insulting to even add a topping to it! I have also had cotton candy which is good as well. One thing that really separates there ice cream from others is how cold it is, most ice cream places has soft ice cream especially in the summer. This place definitely keeps there freezer cold which I absolutely love! I do wish the staff was more attentive and not so young but what can ya do…

Called in for delivery. I ordered a buff chick sandwich with a little extra BC (naturally). 25 minutes turned into 40, and I got the sandwich with neither buffalo sauce nor BC. ‘Nuff sed.

Decided to try this still fairly new pizza joint. The pizza was good and pretty standard as far as central mass Greek inspired pizza. I took the pizza to go but as previous reviews stated the interior left a lot to be desired and the napkin holders were still not filled.

Why can’t I leave zero stars?!? In this case I would have. I had the same issue about the napkins. When i asked for them they walked around like they were looking then never came back. How can you serve food w out those? Went there for a lunch meeting with coworkers all three of got skunked by bad fatty food. Bowling alley food at best. Steer clear

This place was completely empty at 1:00 on a perfect Saturday afternoon, and now I know why!
The place looks brand new and clean inside so I was leery as to why it was empty. From what I could tell, the only person working was a guy who was sitting out front smoking. I can only assume he washed his hands before making our meals.
I used the restroom, not exactly welcoming, placed our order and it was delivered to out table. Not sure if that is the process since we were the only ones there. I got up to get napkins, both dispensers were empty. Tried to add ketchup and mustard to my burger, both seemed empty and clearly not containing the Heinz product the container advertised. What ketchup did come out was watery and ended up all over me since it was clearly not used in a very long time.
Now that I’m covered in ketchup and no one around to refill the napkins, I attempt to eat my burger. Something tasted off, it was the mold covered bun! I promptly brought it to the counter. The person at the counter took it and disappeared out back. When he finally came back he offered no apology but did offer to replace it, I was not interested in a replacement meal.
Since you have to choose at least one star I did, but really it was a 0 star kind of experience. Too many pizza places within 100 yards to ever return here.
Beware the moldy buns of Riverside Pizza!

No idea how the pizza is, but the breakfast buffet on Weekends is top notch. They purposefully don’t overload it to keep things fresh and had a wide variety of offerings including fresh egg sandwiched, scrambled eggs, French toast, French toast sticks, home fries, pancakes, toast muffins, bacon, sausage and more all for only $ 8.95/ person.
There is a good amount of seating and even some picnic tables outside if you don’t mind sitting I the parking lot.
The one star off is just for the fact that its a pizza place, with pizza place type décor, you’re not going to be impressing people coming here. There were also a few mouth breathing Millbillies who regarded us like we were space aliens as we came in, I guess the lack of overalls and sweatpants made us stand out.
Otherwise a really great place, and a perfect buffet breakfast to start your weekend.
