Great old fashioned barber. Reading the other review was humorous, if you don’t like to be surrounded by conservative propaganda or historical confederate pictures then don’t go back, keep in mind where you are, the capital of GA during the war of northern aggression. I usually get a low fade, skin tight in the side. This barber is the only one I know in the area that has a vacuum attached to the clippers, so don’t worry about walking out with hair on you. These barbers are older but that means they are experienced and their work proves it. Highly recommend!

This is an old-fashioned kind of barber shop with an emphasis on the«old.» There were two barbers working the one time I went in and both were easily AARP members(Bob must be over 80). The two other men who were waiting to get their hair cut were also very old. The haircut I ended up getting was ok, but the environment made me uncomfortable. There were pictures of Confederate soldiers on the wall and bumper stickers and signs promoting Dick Cheney, Ronald Reagan and the Republican Party. I don’t really see why that sort of politicism has its place in a barber shop. Just cut my hair and spare me the political iconography. It’s right off the downtown strip, though, and you can’t really see in the windows from the outside, so I can imagine plenty of GCSU students and younger men have wandered in over the years. But I would recommend staying away from this place if you’re under the age of 50 and/or you get uncomfortable seeing the legacies of the«Old South» right in front of you.
