Buckeye Lake State Park

This is where the old amusement park used to be. The fountain from that park is still there as well as the footers the roller coaster was attached to and the old concrete picnic point boat ramp is still there. There is a small beach there and some shelter houses as well. The boat ramps are there and docks nearby. Also is by the ‘little lake” great for super small boats. Fishing off the pier and all of park. It is a real nice park. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is because when they redid the restrooms they took the public drinking fountains out and now you have to buy pop out of a vending machine that is either out of order or empty. Cmon! What is a park without a water fountain? Lots of nice picnic tables in the shade on picnic point area.
