Évaluation du lieu : 4 Columbus, OH
I’ve never been to a large fireworks showroom before so if you have I’ll start by saying that this location had a great selection, well stocked shelves(I went the weekend before the 4th) and VERY nice and helpful staff and cashiers. I highly recommend this location. However, this year their BOGO was buy one and get one of the same price for 0.99. I thought it used to be Buy One Get One Free, which most firework places have. Anyway, that kinda threw me but other than that it was a nice shopping experience. Now, for the ones who have never been to a place like this, you first have to clear security before entering. They check to make sure you don’t have tobacco, lighters, firearms, etc before entering. They check your ID, add you to their system, give you a rewards card, some coupons, have you sign some security forms and send you into the showroom. That word«showroom» shouldn’t make you think the place is huge, for it’s not. The storage warehouse is a nice size though making the entire building look like a small grocery store. It gets a little crowded with everyone mindlessly walking around with large carts looking at things. Mindlessly? The packaging to all the fireworks doesn’t really explain what they do or look like when fired. That’s where the friendly staff and website comes in handy. The site has videos that show what most of the fireworks looks like and how long they last. Very nice feature. I suggest watching these videos ahead of time before visiting. Have your list ready(keeping in mind the BOGO deal) for it will make the shopping experience MUCH easier. Also have a backup plan in case they don’t have what you want. Or, call ahead and ask. You can also call ahead and pre order, then just run and pick it up. That’s what I’ll do next year. They offer special deals for this so why not. With that, the earlier you shop the better. Try not and wait until July to get everything. Many deals expire at the end of June to urge you to order early. Actually, get everything in May for the best prices and deals. It’s a little early but when some of those 500 gram repeaters cost $ 200 before discounts, it’s definitely worth planning a head a little. To sum up, I definitely recommend watching their site’s videos ahead of time and buying as early as possible before the 4th of July and New Years. They honor multiple coupons at once so don’t be bashful throwing everything down at the register. If you have a question don’t hesitate to ask someone for even though fireworks are great fun they’re complicated, expensive and a little overwhelming. Phantom knows this and will help you through ever step of the way.
