I have just started eating as healthy as I can (paleo) and this place is great! Follow them on Facebook and place your orders. Show up in the appointed day and they have your bags ready to go. Very organized. Very nice! Incredible fresh food !!!
This week I bought a meat bag and veggie box. Total cost $ 105. Pretty much what I need for a week. Everything looks amazing! I’m enjoying coming up with a meal plan to fit everything together. If you aren’t into that they have dinner bags. Meat veggies and dessert ready to pick up and take home to cook! You can also just go in and shop. Beautiful baked goods, fresh milk, eggs, veggies and snacks! Just to name a few. …oh and a cheese counter!

Bear’s is AWESOME! We love knowing where our food is coming from and we also enjoy that our food stays fresher much longer! The way that they operate, you don’t have to buy into to a CSA the way that you do most. Offerings are throughout the year and the menus are posted so that you can incorporate them to what’s on your menu plan at home. During the holidays, special packages are offered to ease the stress of planning. We’ve been members for a number of years now and have had no complaints. Bear’s Honeypot is just great and we love the fact we are supporting small business and not a large conglomerate!

Bear’s new location is great! I get a CSA every other week or so. His produce are amazing and the prices are great for fresh, local items. They are really good at accomadating you with whatever you need. I was able to get duck breasts and mussels even though it wasn’t offered. Be sure to try it out. Check out their facebook page for amazing stuff!

At first I was unsure about trying Bear’s, since previous CSA shares haven’t been very good. I am surprised and glad to find that Bear’s has everything I’m looking for.
The prices are very reasonable and the staff is terrific. I don’t think you could get the same quality fresh vegetables and fruit anywhere else without paying an arm and a leg. Also on the organic bags they offer a military discount which is very helpful for those watching their budget. Check them out and you won’t be disappointed!

I usually order the organic bag, a burger bag and eggs. We’ve been getting our bread there too and it’s so good! I’ll post pictures next time :)
