The customer service here is great. The people are so sweet and obliging. My first room they gave me was very clean only problem A/C wasn’t working properly. I gave a few hrs just in case it was just turned on in the room and due to it being so hot I figured give it a little while. Well it never cooled down. So I went to the front desk and let them know and they immediately changed my room to next door so it wasn’t difficult for me to move my stuff and they told me to check it out first and make sure it was cool enough. Well as soon as walked in, it def was cold enough and I even turned the a/c to make it colder and it got even colder. The price is affordable. I was here for a VA appointment I had to come back for and the other hotels prices were so high even with the military discount. I have stayed at some hotels during my travels that have cost more and were gross and when I mean gross you didn’t even want to use their shower. This place the tub sparkles. You can tell they take pride in their rooms. Oh and out of hotels I have stayed at here in Memphis including the peabody, Hyatt and Ramada this one has the best water pressure the only thing those has on this one was the beds. The only reason they dint get 5 stars from me was due to the beds they are not bad just older and with my back issues a little to stiff for me. But I figure if they had the high end mattresses the prices wouldn’t be so affordable so I say 4 and half stars

OK, I had a little«diverse» experience here. First off, the hotel situation in Millington was definitely a little tight. This was one if not only place available for this weekend to visit a friend. I was told that they filled up for drag races. I think the occupancy was a little less on the Saturday v. Friday. So I was a little apprehensive at the beginning. Prices ok; fair for the facility but considering the paucity of rooms available, at least they didn’t try to take TOO much advantage. In actuality, the room itself was deceptively nice. The bed was comfortable. Had a microwave and refrigerator in the room, along with a small desk and chest of drawers for storage. No closet; just an area to store your clothes and bag that was inset into the wall between bathroom and bedroom area. While the room was acceptable, it was more the amenities that were not. They did have free wi-fi; various servers and you get a log in code to use upon check-in. Folks were friendly upon check in but you might be aware they charge you INFULL for your stay ahead of time when you check in. Not a big problem but one you might be aware of. Room clean and bed comfortable. But towels are cheap; Motel 6 cheap and small. Bring your own toiletries to be safe but they did have little packaged soap and shampoo. They skimp on coffee; leaving only one bag or portion to use in morning. If you are a coffee drinker, you might ask for more from housekeeping immediately. Housekeeping was nice but a little spotty on treatment. Looked like all they did mid stay was kind of make the bed and place extra towels on bathroom counter. No real touch up to room. Small things were missing; had an ice machine in each section of hotel but NO ice bin or container to use in room. Also no cups. So I ended up buying ice to keep in my refrigerator and plastic cups. Second day, the maid did leave one small coffee cup. But still no ice container? They have vending machines in each section, too. Breakfast SUX. It’s frozen biscuits that are just placed out. Some«fashion» of gravy. Rest is basically vending machine type oatmeal, cereal, and sweet rolls. To call it breakfast is really giving it more credit than due. All in all? Would I stay here again? If I had to. It’s a decent room and bed but the rest leaves quite a bit lacking. Your mileage may vary but I wanted you to have an accurate picture of staying at this place.

We had stayed here once before, about 4 years ago and it was fine. We found ourselves needing a hotel in this area again so we booked it again and recommended it to our colleagues who also booked a room. This does seem to be the hotel closest to the Memphis Police Academy where we were going to be for three days. The hotel desk clerks were very professional, helpful and friendly. The first two days of our stay we received no housekeeping service, we had to call the desk in order to get clean towels. Our colleagues in the other room said they did get housekeeping but it was only minimal, as in just throwing the bedspread over the bed but not straightening the sheets. They also had a hard time getting hot water and one could only wash up in the sink. On the third day we were not able to get any hot water for a long time and almost had to go to our event without showering but some hot water came at the last minute so we showered quickly and left. Due to bad weather and no guarantee of a shower in the morning we checked out that night. We expressed our displeasure to the night clerk who gave us the name of who to call to voice our concerns. I called the person whose name the clerk had written down to let her know our displeasure. She stated that she had asked to housekeeper what had happened and the housekeeper told her that one day we shouted through the door that we did not need housekeeping and the other day we had a «do not disturb» sign on the door. I then told her that was impossible because we left at 7:00am each day and we did not even have a «do not disturb» sign in our room. She also explained that in the cold weather and high occupancy that their hot water system could not keep up with the demand for hot water. I don’t know what they consider«high occupancy» but I saw a lot of empty parking spaces. So she basically blew off all of my issues and stood by what the housekeeper told her, which essentially implies that I am a liar. I might even considered staying there again if she had owned up to the issues and maybe said that she was sorry we were inconvenienced. Unfortunately, she did neither.

The room was clean and the staff is friendly. The beds were very uncomfortable and the tv looks like its from the 80s.

This place worked out fine. The so-so facilities(watch out for the next-to-last step going upstairs!) are more than outweighed by the really nice staff. Suite(two bedrooms, living room, real kitchen) was big enough. Complimentary breakfast was nothing special, though. Pets do seem to be allowed.

Worst hotel on our entire trip across the US. Our room stunk so badly we had to have a candle lit the entire time. The carpets, breakfast, and beds were horrible. I don’t consider myself a picky or negative person, it really was an unpleasant stay. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, it was cute from the outside and they allowed pets.
