The DMV is known to be a painful experience, but I think I may have found the cure. In and out in about 35 minutes. This location is smaller and further out than the Summer Ave. or Shelby Dr. locations, but for your drive you get better (read nicer) service and less time waiting. I think the trick was to arrive within the last hour of the workday in a Friday. They were all working faster and harder so everyone could go home!

So… who likes going to the DMV? Anyone?
Didn’t think so. But if you have to go, go to the Millington DMV. I’ll quote that stupid tv commercial — «it’s definitely worth the drive»… meaning, you won’t spend allllllllllll day long here like the one in town. I was in and out today in about an hour. Pretty painless compared to the 5 hours I once spent at the DMV on Summer years ago. Lesson learned.
